Tried out the Crossover trial and was able to get up and running. Seems to be a more straightforward install process. You have to manually download and install some directx stuff and visual c++ stuff but other than that seems to work. I don’t have a stick yet, probably will just get a used logitech extreme for $15 to try this out. Wondering if there are any pre-exisiting keyboard only config files I could load up while waiting on a stick?

Falcon BMS 4.3.7 / Wine / MacOS Big Sur
Hi, installed and updated Falcon BMS 4.3.7 on Wineskin Winery MacOS Big Sur using the engine WS11WineCS64Bit21.2.0-1 relatively effortlessly, but the game is crashing after the preload splash screen with the logos. Wondering if anyone has any experience with getting this to work? The Wineskin log is as follows if that is helpful. Thanks!

RE: Fresh install from original CD and BMS 4.34 Hangs at Falcon BMS splash screen
What if you just see the splash screen but don’t hear any music (unticked intro movie)?
-
RE: Unable to launch 4.34
I am also having problems with this and tried a fresh reinstall and it did not work. Any clue how to review logs to troubleshoot this?
Update: Just reading the part at the top about cleaning the registry. Can someone explain how to do this?
Also, I have recently removed my optical drive. Since the game expects the original Falcon 4 install, would not having a cd drive trigger the inability to launch the game? Grasping at straws here people. Have reinstalled multiple times.

RE: Corrupt bsf files?
Scratch that. I deleted and reinstalled U2 and seem to be making progress now.

RE: Corrupt bsf files?
I replaced a fresh U1 Setup folder. Still having the same problem. On the product update screen it says currently installed U1 Base and U2 so it would seem I need to start with U3 but still get the corrupt file for Update_2_Part_1.bsf. Trying to avoid having to reinstall everything from scratch but am at a loss for how to proceed.

RE: Corrupt bsf files?
hmmm… didn’t work. How can I tell which version I have installed?

RE: Corrupt bsf files?
Anyone have any ideas how I could deal with this?

Corrupt bsf files?
Hello,
I’m trying to update from U3 to U4 and am getting Corrupt file: “4.33_Update_2_Part_1.bsf” and Corrupt file: “4.33_Update_3_Part_1.bsf” during the file check. I’ve downloaded the torrent multiple times, used different software to uncompress. Anyone know what’s up here?
Thanks

RE: Non Joystick Keyboard File?
Not sure. Never got this to work.
