@Scorpion82 said in BMS voices: nice one, the two last links seem not to work. Oh sorry, it seems to be a problem with Onedrive. I’ve updated the links and sometimes refreshing the page after clicking on the link also works. If it doesn’t, I’ll move the files somewhere else for hosting. So it’s also a thing for training missions. Quite interesting. Yes, could be used for anything.

I have an issue, and that’s this: I start the server app on my desktop I start the client Android app on my chrome os tablet I start falcon BMS The server finds the client and vica versa. Is see the mfd’s on the tablet. When I start a flight i see the mfd info streaming on the tablet but none of the mfd buttons work. I can press them on the tablet but they do exactly nothing. I’ve added the set line in the cfg. I’ve imported the BMS full key layout. Am I doing something wrong? @airtex2019 said in Is C# compatible with Faclon BMS?: @AmauryChihuahua somewhat. the Alt Launcher is written in C# (WPF) plus a few other mods Not to quibble over semantics but Alt Launcher is not a mod, rather a 3rd Party Application … I know it is a tiny point to make, but “mods” are typically modifications of the base application, similar to the way 3rd party theaters overhaul the main GUI for a theme, etc. I think when it gets to that level, they are working with the code which BMS was written in (C++) and no longer able to use their own language the way Alt Launcher is a WPF app in C#. I don’t mind being wrong if I am, but that was always my impression.

@Tomcattwo said in Pilot Names: Where Are They Kept?: @Crassus Pilot names for BMS KTO are stored in the …data\campaign\strings.txt file. In MC, Pilots tab, you can change names, voices and pictures, export your new file, and import a previously saved file. You can also make changes to strings.txt in MC’s Text Strings tab. MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE you save a copy of the original strings.txt in a safe place BEFORE changing anything, so you can revert back if you need to. Strings.txt can also be changed in MC’S “Text Strings” Tab. Note also that each theater has its own set of pilot names in strings.txt for the theater, located in …\data\Add-On <Theater Name>\campaign folder. Changes made to strings.txt within a specific theater folder will only affect that specific theater. They will not affect the BMS Korea theater or any other Add-On Theater’s strings.txt file. Tomcattwo Thank you!

@Tomcattwo - the Hornet Series does not have a DED…so you should just eliminate the DED from any Hornet Series avionics.

@AdrianEscalona71 said in f22 mods: quien me enseña a instalar f22 raptor mod para falcon bms 4.32 ?? I don’t think you’ll find many, if anyone supporting you with 4.32 now. Bite the bullet, upgrade. There has been hundreds of changes, maybe even thousands. Including having the F-22 added into KTO. Falcon 4 is less than 10 dollars. Its really not that expensive if you don’t already have F4, which is needed to install BMS npw.

@Enzetael said in Is there a way to make Falcon BMS have the falcon 4.0 graphics?: even falcon 4.0 doesn’t run on my pc because of the opengl, so I have to use software rendering there is a way to force DX apps to use WARP (the software-rasterizer built into Windows) … but at 1080p it gets about 5 fps on my 8-core desktop Core i7. my guess, it will be under 1fps on a dual-core laptop from 2008. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/direct3darticles/directx-warp https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/d3dconfig-a-new-tool-to-manage-directx-control-panel-settings/ https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/22498/graphics-card-for-server if you’re feeling brave … crank your desktop resolution down to 1024x768 … and disable/minimize all graphics options via the Config.exe tool

@qawa I was walking around BMS from 4.32 but the F-16 never could really got me. My bad, that’s for sure, but personally the Falcon series avoided me somehow when I was young. I grew up on Strike Eagle II and III. There are some for sure who watch your work with greedy eyes, and when I saw the 4.37 trailer my heart skipped a beat. So I thank You and the BMS team for your and their work. My fingers are crossed! [image: 020926-O-9999G-908.JPG]

Now have an F-15C pit maybe some ppl. find these skins useful. Sadly they are still not in the core DB. Simply just copy the skins into the folder below and it will work. \Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\TerrData\Objects\KoreaObj\ Here you can find a large pack and the two dds from the pack. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/31nreunwpald9/Korea_80s_4.34_LODs_%26_skins

@VIPER-0 I didn’t know that, but at any rate, I made sure I had the right values on the BMS configuration file, but surely that didn’t help… but I’m happy that MFDE version 6_1_1 works, as I find it more complete and easy to configure than RTTRemote, since I can have instruments, gauges and other stuff extracted, and being just drag and drop is sweet as it can be, instead of figuring out pixel coordinates and other stuff required for RTTRemote.
