true, true. i don’t mean to say it was bad form. i do fight mig-21s in the vertical because that’s where they are weakest, once they turn a little bit they drop all of their speed, so while they will still be able to flounder around horizontally they can’t nose up and are vulnerable to repeated snap/tracking passes from above (and IMO, it’s their easiest to hit profile with the big wings and body stretched out below you)
and you are probably right about the early kill, i did notice several points where you ~probably~ could have made a hard 9g in and hit him, though it’s probably safer in the long run to wait a little while. the -21s will try to retain speed by diving, once they run out of altitude to dive into they are sitting ducks i find.
