Hi The problem was solved by uninstalling the SST program and driver, then letting Windows 10 reinstall a generic driver. Since then, all buttons are DX-recognized.

I have now used my X65F on my kids’ Win11 24h2 PC which required me installing the last drivers and SST and then upgrading my main PC to Win11 23h2 (to keep the option for a Reverb G2 use) with that software+driver installed already has both worked fine so far!

Hello again! Sorry I wasn’t able to get back on here until now. And thanks for the replies. Airtex, the x-45 is indeed a USB devise but when I plug it in, nothing shows up on the axis mapping screen when I move the controls. When I plug it in, it tells me that it refuses to load the driver which I think would make the stick work, so I am hoping to find a work around for this. And Icer, yes, I know that you have to turn off the memory integrity setting to get the Saitek programming software to load, that is what is causing so many problems for so many people with these sticks, the drivers do not work with Windows 11 and Saitek is not doing anything to make drivers that will work. I guess my question would be if you do turn off the memory integrity setting and load the Saitek software, can you go back and turn it back on and have the Saitek software still work? I haven’t heard anyone say yea or nay to this. Oakdesign, let me know how your tests work out with Windows 11 and if you can get the axis mapping to recognize the stick that would be a big step forward for me. Thanks for all the help! It is appreciated!

My solution to this problem was to assign the radar cursor to the throttle hat under the Pinkie Switch function in the Launcher Keymapping.

@Kavelenko said in Opinions on Saitek Rudder pedals requested.: @drtbkj This might help to reduce the sensitivity. Add to your Falcon BMS User.cfg // make the rudders less sensitive set g_nAxisExp_AXIS_YAW 60 // Axis exponential curve. Should be in 0|100 range. 0 is disabled set g_nAxisSat_AXIS_YAW 0 // Axis saturation. Should be in 0|99 range. 0 is disabled Same as for cursor movement, this might be the easiest solution to get a curve wich is less sensitive around the center and expands at the edge of the axis. If tesete a lot wit applying curves to axis through 3rd party tools such as JG and in the End always came back to the BMS cfg option as motst responsive and valuable option

@oakdesign Thank you for the info! My controls are now working. Now just to try and remember how to do everything from cold and dark. Having to learn all over again and the funny thing about it is, I was engine run qualified on the Block 40/42 with the PW-220/220E. Of course that was back in 1991/1992.

@Virus Excuse me but I don’t speak English at all (or very little). Are you asking me where I found x65f? If that’s what you want to know well, I found an ad on Subito.it and jumped on it.

@Beatty I personally never used the Cursor with keyboard commands on none of my Saitek/Logitech. It just lacks the possibility to fine move the Cursor compared to axis. Example moving the TGP in narrow 4.0x zoom with keyboard is just a pain. With axis and the use of the config exponential curve setting I can move the TGP very much controlled even to a way that its easy to have a double GBU drop and switch targets reliable within seconds

@VIPER-0 said in Configuring Saitek X52 pro mini stick (mouse) for radar cursor: @SemlerPDX Don’t get angry buddy, it’s a protocol to revive an old post, let’s post something regarding the necropost issue, no one did it with bad intentions. In my opinion, it would be better to create a new topic with exactly the question to ask so that it doesn’t get lost in this old post. I say one more here greetings and stay kind as you are Why a new post. It’s still the same stick and the solutions are as well pretty much the same

@drtbkj I found a solution to install sst,There is no new STT on the Saitek website, there is SD6 software which should generally contain STT, but it does not install. There is a way to do this that Zefir gave me. You need to unpack the soft.exe installer with any program and then select the setup software_loc_9.msi file and install it.After running …software_loc_9.msi, you must then run setup.exe from the same directory as …software_loc_9.msi. Some Magic Bus with Magic Keyboard and Magic mouse will be installed. After all this, the profile works and the button names can be seen on the throttle pen.It was on the Polish forum, maybe it will be useful to someone

@PRNDL said in Saitek X65F & BMS Alternative Launcher: Falcon BMS uses Falcon 4, but it’s fine. BMS doesn’t use Falcon4 to be precise, it just required to have Falcon4 installed other than that BMS is completely independent from the base game I know a lot of threads and post suggest to use the generic hid driver, but to be honest my Saitek X65F runs since years on the Saitek_X65F_Flight_Controller_7_0_53_6_x64_Drivers without any issues

I’ve got some notes here https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/26816/saitek-x65f-bms-alternative-launcher/ I’ve uninstalled the Saitek drivers and deleted them from the hard drive. That makes it use the generic HID drivers. Only the latest Saitek driver worked, and it’s decades old.

@m1tp2king said in X52 pro and mode switch: Hi. So I am new to bms. In the joystick programing software of bms, can I use the mode switch ( 1, 2 or 3) to have loads and loads of possibilities?. Or can I use the software from saitek? If I choose the saitek software will it work no problem? What about the pinkie switch (that doubles each button)? Can the bms software utilise that? The very best way to program X52 Pro is through the integrated Alternative Launcher or through manual DirectX keybinds file configuration. You can use the pinky switch in this way to double each button like you asked, but the Saitek software should be used sparingly and only as needed. In my X52 Pro Falconeer profile setup, I only use the Saitek profile to change the mouse ministick to the arrow keys to move the radar cursor in-game using the ‘binds’ method, and to get the slider on the throttle to behave as a variable speed brake control (where resting in the center halts movement fore or aft). Check it out if you want some ideas on what the X52 Pro can be configured to (with some work), or if you wanna just use the profile straight away, it provides options for just the X52 Pro, or with use alongside Thrustmaster MFD’s, and/or a Razer Tartarus gaming keypad as an ICP, and with or without TrackIR support. Best wishes and good luck, whatever you decide! https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/19815/semlerpdx-s-x52-pro-falconeer-hotas-profile-for-bms-4-35
