Hi. So I am new to bms. In the joystick programing software of bms, can I use the mode switch ( 1, 2 or 3) to have loads and loads of possibilities?.
Or can I use the software from saitek? If I choose the saitek software will it work no problem?
What about the pinkie switch (that doubles each button)?
Can the bms software utilise that?
The very best way to program X52 Pro is through the integrated Alternative Launcher or through manual DirectX keybinds file configuration. You can use the pinky switch in this way to double each button like you asked, but the Saitek software should be used sparingly and only as needed.
In my X52 Pro Falconeer profile setup, I only use the Saitek profile to change the mouse ministick to the arrow keys to move the radar cursor in-game using the ‘binds’ method, and to get the slider on the throttle to behave as a variable speed brake control (where resting in the center halts movement fore or aft).
Check it out if you want some ideas on what the X52 Pro can be configured to (with some work), or if you wanna just use the profile straight away, it provides options for just the X52 Pro, or with use alongside Thrustmaster MFD’s, and/or a Razer Tartarus gaming keypad as an ICP, and with or without TrackIR support.
Best wishes and good luck, whatever you decide! 🍻
