@PAKON4 yeah, that’s what I’m figuring and curious if anyone else has experienced the same.

With the heading bug mapped to the dial, I’m finding myself using it more than I thought I would! I’ve also chose the 5° not the 1° so it gives me an option to move it rapidly and fine-tune it.

thanx guys, got it. Had to sterilize it and fix it as thumb button was not working, but a small piece of wire with heat shrinkable compound did the work. this orange plastic part which originally is black and thin like hell broke… this is not my pic, is from replacement part on ebay. the whole thing is great and they did that stupid thing… and it couldn’t be metal with plastic coating… noooooo thin plastic to brake… [image: kqSMZFZ.png] Now is there a profile for Falcon BMS or I use the Falcon AF that comes with it or I should assign the keys via Launcher? Edit: @Eagle-Eye thank you. He send me one on Discord… and it tested it, works fine… So now on for AIC and the ded and then keyboard shortcuts on the rest of the modes… If someone else wants to share ideas or files u r welcomed…

@Stuntman Great idea, I’ve just carried out the ‘mod’. Only (minor) observation is that once forward of the AB indent (click), the end of the zip tie then scrapes across the textured surface, giving a ‘scratchy’ sound whilst modulating AB - no great shakes though. Maybe I’ll try some black tape to smooth the surface. Also wIll be curious to see how long it lasts, but… true that often the simplest ideas are the best! Thanks from me and Uncle Bob.
  • X56 - Using Throttle Thumb Stick as POV

I find using the default POV hat switch on the X56 awkward so I swapped the POV function to the thumb stick on the joystick. I know others have asked so I thought I’d just post a simple “How To”. In summary, I used the Logitech G programming software to split the C Stick X and Y axis into 3 bands each (33% / 67% / 100%). I then programmed the Keystrokes for POV into the corresponding 33% and 100% of each axis using the REPEAT Macro. C Stick X 0-33% - Shft NUM 4 (Rotate View Left ) 67-100% - Shft NUM 6 (Rotate View Right ) C Stick Y 0-33% - Shft NUM 8 (Rotate View Up) 67-100% - Shft NUM 2 (Rotate View Down) For each macro I also quantized time to 0.00 sec for best result. [image: u13maES.png] **Also adjust the Keyboard/ POV Hat Sensitivity Slider until the speed of the head movement to your liking. [image: toijcOC.png]

@airtex2019 Thanks for the quick response. I just figured out it was the presence of an Xbox controller in on my system. When plugged in, the POV goes to the right stick like in an FPS default controls. Working as advertised now. A little embarassing, but I’m still learning the DX profiling stuff. I appreciate this community’s willingness to offer help to guys like me who don’t always get the time we want to dive into the technical details. Thanks again

Looks like nobody found a solution on this topic. I recently helped a friend of my with the same problem, after long session of troubleshooting throughout the, moon apex. We found the easy fix. I hope, that will help someone in the future! Logitech FAQ Look for “Recalibrate controller axes: RegEdit” and follow the instruction

I am going to set SAITEK X-55 in FALCON BMS, but throttle setting is not possible for some reason. It is double, and JOYSTICK and THOROTTLE of X-55 are assigned to pich and a roll for some reason and cannot assign the throttle simple substance. We system is Win11 in replacing it now. The driver (for Win7) of SAITEK X-55 seems to hit, and other SIMM (IL-2 or DCS A-10) is usable without a problem. Are the corrections of the key profile necessary? Please tell me how to setting.Thank you in advance for your help.

@LevelZero said in X56 View Pan: map this thumbstick on the flight stick to FOV, but not actual head movement can you explain … do you mean, not the direction your head is looking but the position of your head in the cockpit? if so, yes, you’ll want some form of 6-degree-of-freedom head tracking. it’s possible to do this with the mouse … press and hold middle button (button #3) and move mouse cursor. but not very usable, while in flight.

@SemlerPDX said in X52 Pro - pinky blocking buttons: The only thing I could imagine would be a shift magnitude change as this must be exactly as expected by the keyfiles for my Falconeer profile setup to function correctly. You were the one who figured it out! also I suspect OP is probably correct that something changed between 4.37.1 and .2… this used to result in “shifted buttons don’t work” now it seems like nondeterministic behavior … sometimes the pinky-shift is stuck on, sometimes entire hotas buttons (shifted and nonshifted) stop responding.
