Correct touchscreen usage is currently not possible for BMS (only talking about BMS itself here, external tools may work nevertheless), as the input system handles relative mouse input only. Touchscreens need absolute coordinates for proper handling. It’s a known issue and has been like this for ALL Falcon 4 versions. A rewrite of the input system would be needed to solve this. It’s on the ToDo-list, but don’t hold your breath.
I know this is an old subject, but being able to activate controls via my touch screen monitor like I could in F4:AF would satisfy my concept of realism regarding the sim. I prefer to activate various cockpit controls/switches (gear, Master Mode with some exceptions, MFD pushbuttons) manually, the way that (I think) a real Viper pilot does. For now I gotta use my mouse for most of 'em, the exceptions being my rudder pedals (rudder and wheel brakes) and my MFD frames (buttons).
