And in order to help a little more, you can easily and quick set the desired ATC frequency via the “COM1” knob for UHF and the “COM2” knob for VHF of the ICP panel. Look at the below photo:
So you hit to “COM1”, then hit the keys in ICP that are the order of numbers of the desired UHF frequency and last hit to “ENTR”.
The same way you hit to “COM2”, then hit the keys in ICP that are the order of numbers of the desired VHF frequency and last hit to “ENTR”.
Example:
Merkez airport in Turkey in Aegean theater v1.3 has UHF 258.70 and VHF 122.05.
For UHF you hit exactly these keys with the order: COM1 - 2 - 5 - 8 - 7 - ENTR (No need to hit the last “0”).
For VHF you hit exactly these keys with the order: COM2 - 1 - 2 - 2 - 0 - 5 - ENTR.
Notice that you don’t insert the decimal dot “.” !
