Thanks Nikos!!! I’ll use the map with the airports on it. I already figured out the size should be. 2048x2048 in png format, so I resized an the normal map. I also just renamed it ‘korea’ in Yame and then it just loads the right map. Still not sure how to get a map called ‘nordic’ to pop up in Yame, but this works. Really like this theater, nice scenery and not too fuzzy!!!

I need to be a bit more clear.

Capable = hardware capable + software capable.

Hardware-wise, all Vipers can be loaded with the missile via the standard MAU-12 weapon pylon and standard mil bus cable. Software-wise (missile code data in MMC & SMS) AFAIK only Korean are fully capable, HAF last 2 orders have the software in there but the missiles where never purchased for the Air Force, only Navy has the variant. About USAF, without knowing the latest M7 tape additions about this missile, IIRC it wasn’t in the past tapes. But maybe I am wrong and needs to be confirmed directly.

All posters of bugs . . . we gladly accept bug reports - don’t be too worried about criticizing the work, or huring my feelings if you find something totally porked. Hehehe. there is a lot of swagging when it comes to making decisions about many things in Falcon. What I am aiming for is to fix things that are clearly busted or just not right in some way. We can debate what IR, RCS values are , or what weapons this or that a/c can use or not . . . but ultimately we have to choose something. Trying to get some data to fit into the Falcon world AND make it relative to other a/c and previously added DB items sometimes implies some interpolation. The idea from my point of view is try to find a nice balance between accuracy and something playable. CCC and I gave a lot of thought to RCS value of the PAK-FA for example. I think we have example of Russian stealth presented with a fair estimate of its RCS value to make it play in the game so that it has some relevance as a stealth a/c. This is just one example where we tested the a/c against SAMs and tried to find a nice balance of available data and playability. I always welcome other points of view - and enjoy the opportunity to dig a little deeper into things to try to see if I can make some sense out of data and apply it to our nice sim. If you can make a really solid case for change please don’t be afraid to send your info . . . but it will need more support than a single blog or forum post fro some anonymous member to seriously consider making changes. For example, citing multiple sources over several years that have a reputation for good solid information is much more useful for consideration.
