I’ve also seen this happen in campaign, same scenario as above. Returning to base and the home base isn’t landable and ATC diverts me to alternate and the steerpoint automatically swaps over. I dismissed it as me doing something when I happened to me.

@gankailer so of course what you (and our pilots) are seeing shouldn’t be happening at all but this work-around is for any time you see the problem. From what i recall its NOT a “do it once and then you are good for the mission” kind of thing.

@MailMan This is also happening to me. Try to switch from A/G or A/A to NAV an back again. For me this sortes it out…

This is the first time it’s ever happened to me, too. I’m beginning to suspect it’s something to do either with the A-10’s systems in general or my install itself. I’ve flown 3 more missions and fired off around 12 mavericks and had no issues with those, but now ran into another CTD when attempting to switch from CCIP to CCRP on Mk 82s.

EDIT: Tried reinstalling just in case with a completely fresh download. Still getting the same issues. I’ve tried to replicate them in the F16C-50 and have been unsuccessful so far.

Hi, I am going to test this today in OFM, in both the A-10C and other jet(s).
Update:Tested in f-18C,fired multiple Mav-D’s in BORE. No ctd

@tiag I didn’t frag the flight by mistake, nor was it done in MC. I believe it’s the engine that generated it.

Well, not the outcome I was expecting. I was able to install Win11 23H2 with success. Unfortunately, my good (very old) ASUS ROG laptop fried something during a routine Windows update. Smells like a power supply from experience. Oh well, time to upgrade to a desktop!!!

Is it not possible to tune into their IDM frequency and transfere air targets or ground targets? Air target to Escort and SA5/SA10 to DEAD?

Detailed Description
You guys may have read my other post over in the VR part of this forum, for Pimax Headsets. In the process of finding a solution I’ve tried many settings and ran the benchmark a lot of times. After my most recent change of the refresh rate of the headset from 90 fps to 72 fps the game has greeted me with a instant CTD after the splash screen.

Neither reverting the changes made in Pimax nor a fresh install of the game nor a fresh install of the Pimax software could solve the problem for me.

Since the crashlog doesn’t give me any hints as to what the problem could be, could any of you guys help me out?

Tonight, I fragged a 2-flight (AI@4-F16CM50 w/ ESCORT@4-F15C) in my ongoing Suwon-based campaign. I was using my edited Sowon.dat data file as explained by @Mav-jp .

Our package happened to spawn on the 33L/R end of the runway where ATC gave us correct queueing directives for takeoff, and correct approach vectors for landings, confirming Mav’s analysis and solution. Thank you Mav, and thanks again to @tiag & @digle for following up with corrected data for U4.

Follow-up: The next day, I fragged a similar mission that started (departure) on the 15L/R end of the runway. During the mission, the weather turned bad and prevailing winds changed. Upon returning to Suwon (approach), we were vectored to 33R. ATC was flawless.

@tiag thank you, sir. It was quite late when I gathered this last night. I feel I should add to the description. The TGP was in point track of a vehicle with intermittent clouds. Laser was in combat, set to proper code, and ON. With auto set to 11 seconds. SMS of GBU set to After.

Just to close the loop here. Tried the downloader again after the new update and works without problems! Thanks for all the efforts, not sure what the issue was, but seems to be resolved with last update.
