Gentlemen, Smartaxe and I are proud to unveil Libya 128 for BMS 4.35. our Libya is a brand new 128 Segment Theatre never before released for Falcon. It comes with a scratch built terrain personally authored by Demer928 with assistance from Vagabonds64. The DB was compiled by Smartaxe and includes several enhancements over default Korea include such items as CCC’s low poly F-35 model modifications based on Thoarek’s (Turkey) F-35A model. MyKinge’s F-14 cockpit and Metalhead’s F-22 Cockpit have also been included in the stock install for Libya. Furthermore a host of aircraft and missile data fixes have been included. One of the most important is the Aim-54 Phoenix accuracy/flight model fix. I have built three fictional campaigns based on historical events that are set in three separate timeframes. While the three campaigns may look similar, underneath the hood there are differences which make the winnability more challenging and unique. Also, I want to give Smartaxe a big thanks for all of the UI work he did. Almost everything in the Art folder was scratch built by him. Finally, I want to give a big thanks to Jackal for all of the work he did on the TEs. All three TEs were created by him and are historical events. By flying the TEs, you will see what those pilots who flew the real life missions really felt. I also want to mention, the latest Hornet Mafia files have been incorporated into Libya for your F/A-18 immersion.

Notes:
Libya is a big theatre, 128 segments to be exact, such a large theatre requires flying long distances, thus lots of fuel. This is especially true if you are flying the F-16s from Southern Europe such as Italy and Greece. I recommend you take extra fuel on all missions.
The desert terrain is mostly flat. Sneaking up on SAM sites at low level will not work in Libya. Pilots will be spotted by radar well before shoreline. Fly high, jink a lot and be prepared to dodge SAMs from far away. Also, the low level AAA is murderous. Don’t assume that you are free from AAA in the empty desert, AAA batteries hide among the dunes everywhere.
Enjoy our theatre and show us your stickwork in the screenshot thread.
