I have stopped believing it is by accident long ago, more by design. Since 1999 and “Jane’s F/A-18” , there wasn’t official F-18E sim… , sure there were few projects and mods (not more then 5? 10?) … but nothing “in the headlines” … hush hush , see ? And of course - it’s not for sale. Just look F-16 as opposed … there were movies and games and “games” from frackin’ Commodore to this day. (and you know when C64 was “mainstream”). For the same reason you will not see SU-35 or other in that other sim. Ow come on, it’s been 20 frackin’s years… , dot gov - what!! (wait 50???) … meh…

@Grimberno Thanks for the feedback. I’ll take a look at it. As far as the “TGP continues to work after jettison” issue is concerned, I’m inclined to believe its a code related issue. I’ll test this on other aircraft to see, whether there is the same issue or not. It may need some modifications, dependent on the aircraft type though, as the stores jettison option is set in the bmsrack.dat for the respective pylons.

This is all a natural side effect of the modeling of the ground handling…you’ve noted that the jet will “bob” when you stab the brakes on the ground, right?? The struts are extending and compressing when that happens and all that has to be modeled so that it looks right from the outside views…wheels remain in contact with the ground etc.

@airtex2019 I removed -mono from my shortcut that day, unfortunately. The event took place on 2025 03 27. And I have all the xlog file recordings of the flights of the days before and all those of the days after (I think), but none for 2025 03 27 and the 2025 03 28 (the mission started on the 27th and probably finished on the 28th.

@oakdesign I have a simlar issue in VR, but the other way round: I have too much FPS. Instead of stable 72 I get up to ~80 FPS. I would expect to have issues with lower FPS. And this is only in Balkan and it seems only in campaign. I can not reproduce this in KTO. My headset is a Pico 4 Ultra using VDXR (connected via USB to PC ethernet; PC runs a small DHCP client; bandwidth is 1200 MBps). GPU is a RTX 4080 Ultra CPU is a Ryzen z 7700X RAM is 64 GB

@white_fang would ofcourse be the better solution. Thus far it’s a workaround that works, but ofcourse it would be better, if the coordinates in the txtpb would simply work, as they are in already, but seemingly ignored by the code.

@crr_romero my personal preference is virtual desktop, using VDXR. But openxr is probably your best choice if going with link. You have to restart link after changing those settings in ODT or OTT. That’s how it works.
