Su-35/37 TVC Tight Loop & F-22 Double Pedal Turn Demo

Tweaking the F-22 AFM file according to the Cm-alpha, Cn-beta, Cl-beta, Cn-delta r30 curve & roll data obtained from AIAA-1994-2105-832. Using Excel to fit the data into NASA tables. Still lacks tons of data. Anyways just have fun.:D

Yes, nice, seem to have a good pitch too, I may be wrong…… is it ready to share with community?
Thank you -

Thank youNot sure, reference data is so limited. Too much guesswork and I may not even call it an AFM. You can try it for fun: (file corrected, based on the FM files from your latest F-22 MOD, F22-31-05-2015)
Known issue: You may find the plane hard to pitch down while in high AOA regions. This is not because pitch down moment is insufficient, but the FLCS is hardcoded and I can’t change the speed/rate of the g evolution. Pitch rate gain may be the stuff for it but things won’t change much. If you have a hard time to pitch down, use MPO.
Note: If you don’t want yourself to be in high AOAs, switch to CAT III. It will limit AOA to 25deg or so, and won’t reduce roll rate.
BTW, here’s another demo on defensive BFM with the use of TVC. (read: MPO). Sry for shaky camera.:D

…two rudders are better than one.

F-22:
Fixed for delta Cm table so the aircraft won’t pitch abruptly at 35deg AOA. (Again, I can’t modify what is hardcoded into the FLCS.) Now you can let the MPO at override position from the very beginning.
Fixed for Cl-a20 & Cl-a20 LEF table for a more proper left roll & yaw coupling characteristics.
Have a good day.;) -
