Comms with AI during game are lost
-
Hello, people of BMS! I’m new to this forum, so I don’t know if I’m posting this where I’m supposed to, but I discovered that changing the QWERTY keys default designations (each key is used for comms with AI units such as wingman, element, flight, AWACS, tower and tanker) makes the AI comms disappear! In other words, don’t change those default keys! That’s obviously for the keystrokes file. If you change them, not only each window for the comm key you pressed will not work, but other pages of the same comm key won’t appear. That’s applicable for BMS 4.32 update 1 to 6. Good luck!

Make sure you are updated to U7. What you mentioned is not the latest update.

What he is saying would apply to u7 as well, I think. Aren’t the Comms/Wingman/Tower/Tanker commands are hard-coded to the QWERTY keys?

Roger…wasn’t addressing his issue, but just letting him know that he does not have the latest update.

I will update to v7, thanks for the referral! However, if it’s useful to anyone, once you have changed those QWERTY keys and find out you cannot longer access the AI comms, just change those keys back to their original QWERTY defaults! That’s a very strong aspirin for a very bad headache of a problem.
