Problems with black screen in Win 8.1 Pro
-
Hi, I am running Win 8.1 Pro with an Asus Mg 279 144Hz 27" monitor with an Asus Strix Radeon 390X and when I go to start Falcon BMS[which has all the way up to update 7] the icon is on the taskbar but the screen cuts back to the desktop with the Bms icon still open on the taskbar. When I put my mouse pointer over the icon it shows an opened BMS in aero peek and when I hit it it just sends me back to the desktop. When I updated to Win 10 it did the same thing. I have tried every compatibility settings there are under Win 8.1 Pro but no luck I even tried cutting back on the refresh rate that didn’t work either any help would be greatly appreciated. I also have and AMD processor 8350 and Gskill Trident DDR3 1866 memory with Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 motherboard.:(:(:(

If you are running W10, Graphics driver most probably. Uninstall/remove from registry and restart. Allow windows to use its own driver for starters and go from there.

Raven I re-installed bms again under Win 8.1 Pro and now it works fine maybe there was an installation corruption I don’t know lately Windows stuff is running funny ever since this Win 10 came out I feel they are forcing everyone to have what they want you to have bummer but I appreciate your response.
