Tom Catz fullpack incorrect AGM-65D model
-
Hi
I downloaded Toms Model-fullpack 2015 from his website: http://tomsflightart.jimdo.com/model-fullpack/
After installation I actually got the AGM-65D looking like a JSOW AGM-154.Could anyone confirm this?
This is what I see in tactical reference as in-game, although the missle acts just like a normal Maverick. -
Yeah, I see that too on my install.

Invalid or Deleted File. The Error i get

Strange… Because I tried a vanilla version of BMS and then only added the Tom Catz mod and that is the result.
Do you have other errors if you look at different weapons/planes/… -

Do you have other errors if you look at different weapons/planes/…But only in TC’s theater. Theaters have speadtated database. I do not konw his pack but maybe he recycled some DB entries. It does not matter what you see in Tacref. In case you check my MOD because of “recycle” at F-105D you can see F-20 because I cannot edit Tacref. What is importand the loadout and 3D world. Check that.

I checked in 3D world and it looks like the JSOW but it acts as an AGM-65D…
I assume it’s just a wrong model that is in place of the AGM-65D. The problem is I don’t know how to replace it with the correct one.
I know it’s theater depended but I only used the default KTO which it was made for. -
Oh- sorry for that.
You can try following:
-Use LOD-Editor and open a original HDR
-Search for the AGM 65 and Export it to your desctop as “AGM65D.lod”
-Open my DB with LOD Editor
-Replace the AGM65 D with the exported lod.Should work. Same procedure is useable for all similar operations just like grabbing other mods or models from other databases (like JanHas models).
Cheers

You can try following:
-Use LOD-Editor and open a original HDR
-Search for the AGM 65 and Export it to your desctop as “AGM65D.lod”
-Open my DB with LOD Editor
-Replace the AGM65 D with the exported lod.Should work. Same procedure is useable for all similar operations just like grabbing other mods or models from other databases (like JanHas models).

TomThanks for the suggestion. I’ll give it a try this evening! I don’t really know how to export it and replace it exactly.
But I’ll try to figure it out
Thanks for the other textures, they look múch better -

TomNot really sure if I did it correctly, but I selected the AGM-65D and hit normal.
After that I selected the 1st LOD and exported that one to desktop.
I did the same for the remaining LOD’s of the AGM-65D.
To import them I opened the other database and selected again the AGM-65D.
I then again hit ‘Normal’ and switched to ‘Replace’ mode. After that I replaced each LOD at a time.
Or is this incorrect? -
Yeah- sounds good. The LOD-Editor is easy to handly but make saefty copy first.
With the button “view” you are able to check if all went well.
Cheers

TomIt’s looking great now! But I do have problems with installing the mods of Hayab. They don’t contain any explanation and it’s
not that easy as just replacing some LOD’s apparently. -
It is.
It’s still the Same procedure. JanHas Package are having the LOD and textures. Copy the textures into the Korea Object folder- dds files.
After that open the Editor, Switches to the Viper model you will replace and Replace the LOD. You have different LOD Levels which means How many Detail for different Distances .
The first is the nearest so it should have the most Details. The number is the Distance in Feet. Up to this these model is loaded and them the Engine switch to the next lower model and so on.
Hope, this Helps
Cheers

TomThe JanHas models have a great PDF guide on his website which is clear to me!
I’m struggling with the Package 1 of Hayab containing Kraz vehicles, ZPU2 and S-60.
It is the last one that is the problematic one. The “Destroyed” S-60 model only has 1 LOD shown but in Hayabs folder I have 4 replacements.
I know I can just set the number of LOD’s to 4 in the parent folder, but when trying to replace them it doesn’t work off course…
But Hayab his models don’t include any instructions. And I can figure it out for the ones I only need to simply replace LODs.
But the S-60 Destroyed is a whole other matter.I’ve already tried to post it on the forum:
