Srceenshot resolution question.
-
I have noticed the resolution/quality of the ingame screenshots I take are pretty horrible. I zoom in x1 on a pic and looks like I am flying in Minecraft.
Current (dual) displays are 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 1024.Questions:
1. Is there a away to change it’s resolution?
2. Should I look at using other software?
3. Are the dual monitors affecting the resolution for some strange reason?Any advice is surely thanked in advance!

you mean ingame screenshot?
AFAIK resolution is the resolution of your BMS 3D settings. I use multiple monitors and it does not impact my screenshots resolution.
The only thing that may be manageable is JPG vs PNG in the config file and prettyscreenshot versus normal screenshots.Haven’t noticed any change for resolution of screenshots, unless of course your ingame res changed as well?
Have you changed graphic options maybe? -
Thanks Red Dog.
I’ll try changing it to .png.
Yeah, that is correct, the ingame screenshot. I have not changed any gfx options.

@ Red Dog, where should I be looking to change the jpg/png screenshot. Cannot seem to find anything that will enable a change of config.
-
It’s set g_bPngScreenshots 1, but I don’t think it is a config option in 4.32
In any case I’ve taken screenshots as .jpg and .png (in the next version) and at default resolution there was no discernable difference. Obviously the .png option scales automatically when you post a screenshot online, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem you’re describing anyway.
Got an example of BMS Minecraft for us to tut over?

Thanks Darkman, I’ll get some pics posted asap. Cheers mate
