looks like a book, a big book

Dont know what you find so funny. My very generalized statement coincides with the history. It was part of the evolution. Pick at me all you want but the history does not discredit anything I posted. It is very generalized I agree, but correct none the less.
i am just saying openfalcon didnt merge with bms team.

i am just saying openfalcon didnt merge with bms team.
Gotcha.
But heir āstonesā said that it has been an evolution for the dev team as well. So, bms is an evolution within an evolution. Awesome!

Would be possibile to implement a skin folder into falcon? Or it is too much work? Would be nice to have lots of skins together instead of 4-5 like know.
Just a curiosityā¦ -
looks like a book, a big book
Iād be the first in line for my copy if somebody took the time to sit down, do some interviews and publish a well-researched tittle. I regularly re-read āon the edgeā on the rise and demise of Commodore Inc., and itās still one of the most entertaining reads on my bookshelf.
Cheers, Uwe

Just a curiosityā¦Why is there a limitation?

Why is there a limitation?
Iāll try to explain it in my very bad english.
Letās take the block 52 model. In falcon you can only have 3 or 4 skin (from 3000.dds to 3050.dds itās an example, just random numbers).
If you want to add a new one you have to overwrite an existing one.
On other simulator you just put the new one in the skin folder and stop. You can have tons of it at the same time.I hope I explained myself. Let me know

Didnāt know the possibility to add a skin without overwriting the exisiting oneā¦ Iāll try! Thanks!

Not knowing much,
but how would the game know they are F16Block52 Skins?
And which squadron would get them? -
The files are called by the model. Which set u will see you do declare in the Falcon ui. Also from MC you can declare the set used for it for mp flights IIRC.

Donāt know if it was already mentioned (166 pages so long, not bad!): the not very realistic in-perfect-line formation of stationary battaillons. More or less okay when they are on the move, but when the reach their target they should disperse.
Bigger challenge for CAS

Well someone could post which are or for sure will be in 3-4 weeks in the upcoming release.

Iād like to suggest what is hopefully an easy fix for 4.33 (if there ever is such a thing in Falconās convoluted code base ;)): Can we please enable the debriefing screen for training missions? I donāt mind if they donāt contain a rating (or make it always display āaverageā), but I checked and the debrief.txt is being written to / updated when you exit a training TE, so maybe an option in F4Patch entitled āShow debriefs for training missionsā would be the right place to put it.
Iām often flying training missions in TEs where I drop some stuff on the range and it would be nice to be able to see results after the mission just like itās the case after a strike mission.
All the best,
Uwe

thats a very very very good Point Uwe!!

hmmm
One good thing - though killer for programmers could be an advanced log functionality.
Like getting the mission files weather etc the briefing and the debriefing.
Also a functionality like the one I requested from Virtuoz, but itās going to be payware, sorry Virtuoz you r doing a great job but itās payware, would be a comparison of briefing - debriefing, and above all save all mission related files in one place or-and naming them using the same name. So you would have the full package in one place and more easily share data. This would also be a great help for squads training programs and keeping score and evaluating pilots.
Like fly this mission give the files and the instructor later on or a third person (evaluator) can check the basics and report a score for the flight, like a pass/fail. Also it could be divided in sections like timing/nav/ altitudes attack profiles etc, if it could keep and a history by naming members and a matrix of performance per squadā¦ like squad1, squad2, and for every squad member1, member2, etc.
This must come with a whole redesign of the ACMI functionality to the standards or above of tacview.
Like a combination and comparison of MC WDP acmi debriefing files and data. This would greatly help for basic training and for maintenance flights for V-Squads and offload their work and reporting - keeping score of each member status - level. -
