BMS Resolution
-
Gents,
I have my 3 screens set at a resolution of 5760 x 1080 but BMS attempts to open only at 1074 x 760 ( lower res ) even though 5760 x 1080 is selected in the graphics tab. Any way to adjust for this?
Thanks

Hmm, I think it just worked for me. And just to confirm, Windows sees your monitors as one big screen, right? I have an Nvidia setup and it just worked for me. About the only other change I made was in the Falcon BMS config file…I set g_bCenterUI = 1 but I think that just starts the UI in the center of the screen. doesn’t impact resolution.

Moose your not explaining your self very well. You haven’t described your hardware set up at all which is usually helpful for any one attempting to assist you.
Are you saying you set your desktop to span three monitors ? And then select 5760x1080 in BMS Setup/Graphics tab ??
So, you don’t say weather it actual spans all monitors or not. Does it ???
And are you guessing 1074 x 760 because the HUD is massive ???
If that’s the case you need to set a custom FOV (Field Of View) in the config file. Falcon BMS 4.32/User/Config/falcon bms.cfg.
Use a text editor its line 20 or 21 (set g_fDefaultFOV 70) try somthing like 160.
And do reply back.
Cheers

2D UI is always the small resolution. I have 5760x1080 too and only 3D is the full amount. It is required for AMD/nVidia to be set as combined displays into one single logical monitor. Falcon doesn’t understand 3 separate displays.

Thanks Frederf. The issue was resolved with guidance from Falcas. Issue was related to not using windows mode and also MFD Export utility.
