Foxy and BMS 4.33 - Radar cursor slewing?
-
On a side note, I had to reconfigure my HOTAS due to many key binding changes. Worth it to reconfigure though. I think many here will have to do some reconfiguring with there HOTAS.

I have the same problem with X-52. I have to use the saitek profiler for the radar cursor, and only for the radar cursor, because I’ve understood that it’s the only way to get the micro stick to work with BMS.
It worked fine with BMS 4.32 using Kesmonkey’s DX profile. -
I figured it out: turned off Button/Axis Emulation in CCP and then I closed out Foxy. I then assigned Rudder/Toe Brake axis to the Cursor X/Y axis.

I cant find where BMS picks up my Cougar microstick as x/y axis. On the Avionics tab I see the drop down window for Cursor X and Cursor Y, but the only option for the Cougar is the Rudder axis and I dont have a Rudder attached to the Cougar.
Maybe the relevant axis are occupied by other ones?
Just check all your axis settings accordingly and confirm all axis are set to the right physical axis. -

Thanks, but that’s exactly how I had it set up. And the .pr0 file that’s in there has the micro stick emulate alt+arrow keys, when it should be shift+arrow keys for the radar cursor.

Copy.
So all you are saying is:
The key assignments in the .pr0 file in your install folder are wrong? If this is the case, well, than it’s a bug sir.
Nice find. Can you please try changing the key assignments in the .pr0 to the correct ones (shift+arrow) and report back?

Did that. Same issue. The cursor is flying all over.
I did find a work around tho. I removed bindings from F9-F12 and mapped the radar cursor there. It’s working now.
I’m just guessing here, but I think the saitek profiler trying to emulate “shift” + arrow keys is the issue here. Because now that I changed them to unshifted keys it’s working fine.
-
Me thinks, I need to get my dusty X52 from the roof asap
Sorry, but not before tomorrow.I know it is essential for Saitek users to get the mouse cursor to work.
If there are any wrong assignments in the pr0 file, this is of course defenitely not intended.
The last time I had my x52 here to work on the key file and device stuff was almost one and a half year ago.
I need to check. If you find another solutions meanwhile, just drop me a pm please.

No worries. I got it working the way I want so I’m happy with it.
Ps. Sorry for hijacking the thread

Use the Dunc BMS files for the Cougar + the keymap file. It’ll fix you right up.
