Wierd issue when using touchpad
-
Hello Gents,
have anyone tried flying BMS using touchpad instead of a mouse to interact with the cockpit?
I have a wierd issue using my “Wacom Intous Pen & Touch”. During flight the sim doesn’t recognise “single click” and “right click” functions of the tablet. I can scroll, which is pretty handy for zooming the view in and out, but I can’t click any buttons. The weird part is that this happens only during flight. When I’m browsing the menu, it’s working ok and I can single click anything. I tried changing different settings of the tablet but it didn’t help.
I tried it with DCS World and it was working just fine, I could interact easily with the cockpit buttons.
So any Ideas why it’s not working with BMS?Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

Sry for bringing that up, as I secretly hoped this issue won’t be present with 4.33.
Again, does anyone from the dev team have a clue why I can’t use my Wacom tablet as a touch pad. It works well in the menus, but once I get in the cockpit I can’t press any buttons…

No idea sorry.

Touchpads dont work well with BMS - this has to do with the way mouse inputs are recognized into the software.
It is possible that this might be addressed further down the road, but rewriting the input system is quite a task… so wait and see.
