BMS Editor vs 64-bit issue?
-
@ DEVS: first of all, congratulations on an incredible effort put into improving this already top-of-the line sim. My personal thank you to all of you guys.
Now, concerning 4.33 editing tools: I’ve noticed that, when trying to open BMS Editor in 64-bit mode, the editor crashes at launch:
In 32-bit mode, all works fine.
Any thoughts on this subject? Do you gents anticipate any possible issues editing the DB in 32-bit mode and then launch the sim in 64-bit?
IMHO, this might be of extreme importance, concerning much needed edits we have to make in order to try to make previous theaters from 4.32 compatible with 4.33, regarding custom airbases and so on…
Thanks in advance for your remarks.
Cheers,
Nuno

No problem with using the 32bit editor then flying 64bit.
However, 64bit editor has worked, I’ll give it a look when I’m in front of a computer today.
However, the amount of changes between 32 and 33 is such, that you will need to add your theater changes on top of 33 DB. Do not try doing it the other way around.

For me too 64bit editor works ok.

I have the same problem. Vers. 4.33 works in the 32-Bit mode, but in 64-Bit it doesn´t start. Perhaps a problem of the Radeon-Card?

There is a thread for it look at my hot list to find it.
Probably it’s
1. Bluetooth
2. A usb device
Unplug and test.
Oh maybe your OS is 32bit? -

Problem is solved by installing the current windows 7-update with the latest release of service pack 1 :D.
