FreeTrack is not working on Falcon BMS 4.33 64bit version.
-
BMS Manual page 9.
64-bit is the preferred mode as it will provide better management of resources and typically a smoother experience, especially when the sim becomes graphically challenging (TGP, Maverick WPN page, FLIR displayed on MFDs/HUD, lots going on out the window).
Much of the time though you will probably not notice a significant difference, so enjoy 32-bit for now while we see what the issue is with FreeTrack and 64-bit.

Back up your old freetrack folder and overwrite files from this package:
https://copy.com/hGzKyuRaOFGEQH2y
I don’t know how this files work together, but it’s work for me :). Tirview.dll is from TrackIR app and other dlls was taken from Opentrack app.
One thing that i do with this package was invert Y axis in Freetrack app.
-
I tried the solution “karnaloock” and work fine, great job!!!
-
karnaloock many thanks, resolve the problem with your files, work fine for me
-
Same here. In 32bit it works perfectly, but not in 64bit.
karnaloock, your link doesn’t work now. Could you please reupload that file on more reliable page?

Hi, NPClient64 solution is working for me, but I only can use Freetrack, not TrackIR software (not a problem), but my Y-axis is inverted, could you please tell me how can I invert the track ir axis in BMS?
Thanks.

In freetrack you can change it to invert. You have to tick the invert box next to pitch.
Is your freeteack stable? If so, what cam do you use and whow do you install freetrack + which version? -
You should be able to invert the Y-Axis within your head tracking software, here’s how it’s done in FaceTrackNoIR:
-
OK, I activate the invert option in FreeTrack and it is working. I’m using a TrackIR2 and my Freetrack version is 2.2.
-
You only need to copy NPClient64.dll from the opentrack distribution. The NPClient files won’t be updated anytime soon due to Arma anti-cheat whitelist. The file will work out-of-the-box for all non-encrypted titles. For those you need special support.
-
I’m now using FacetrackNoIR as a replacement and it’s working better than freetrack so far!
It also has the same capabilities. -
FreeTrack does not work for me either on64 bit version of the f4.33
-
I gave up on Freetrack for BMS 4.33 x54 couldn’t make it work no how. I now use Opentrack and it works just fine with both versions. Of course I have yet to dial in the curves to match my Free track setup for x32 but I am getting close. The difficulty lies in replicating the pilot’s range of motion when constrained by belts ,helmet , canopy and such to prevent out of body ( cockpit) experiences. A real immersion killer for me.

If you input right FOV into PointTracker, and model coordinates are real units (millimeters, inches), your translation raw values should be real values as well.
TrackHat folks recommend using fov 75 on PS3 Eye, that is the larger one.

Thanks, I missed that
