SoftTH and 4.33?
-
Anyone get this working? Hope to have 4.33 64bit on my triple head at 4096x1280.

Got it…you need the 64-bit dll from here
Put it and your softth config from your 4.32 bin/x86 folder into 4.33 bin/x64
Cheers!

Yep, got it working thx!
Though, wondering if softTH is necessary for 3 screen setup with varied resolution monitors? Basically, is it possible to custom set the ingame resolution manually? For example could I set the resolution to 4096x1280 via a config update, and then set my left monitor as prime?
I do this for DCS, CLOD, and IL2 successfully.
Basically if I can avoid softTH, I may be able to get reshade to work? Or if someone uses gamma gapa, do you have a recommended profile for bms?

Sorry, can you point to the correct link? Perhaps I am blind because of the 4.33 overdose, but I can not see that dll overthere, only the x86 one.

WindGapa gamma:
http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2697597/Re_Gapa_Gamma_panel_utility.htmlThis is my gapa gamma tool set, including presets:
All the callbacksd are located on the numpad panel. Numbers 1-9, numbers 9, 3, 7 include presets which will give you visual contrast and colour changes very similar to Sweet FX yet no sharpening…
This tool simply sits on top of your monitor settings and when you exit it via the taskbar, it closes. Choose a setting eg. with the 9 or 7 key, exit gapa and after gaming come back and set colours back to normal (preset with 6 key).
8 is my monitor default.Made this for you guys, not for me, I use Sweet FX 32 Bit…

New settings: Numpad 7 and 9.
PS
If you get SweetFX to run, prefer that! Recall: If your monitor settings remain in one of the gapa settings after PC restart. open the program again with its exe and reset defaults. Hotkey for that is 6. Or right click on its taskbar icon and go for “restore defaults”, then exit it. -
Hey Tom,
With SweetFX in v4.33, are u using Reshade? I have thus far been unsuccessful getting reshade to work with any of my sims (IL2, CLOD, DCS, or BMS), though may try harder to make it work as I have debugging info but have not nailed the culprit. However, with BMS 4.33 and move to 64bit, I believe only Reshade with SweetFX 2.0 would be the option, correct? Previously, i had BMS 4.32 successfully chained with softTH and SweetFX 1.5 running together, but now, new ballgame.
All in all, hopefully can get it all working, though indeed, as backup will definitely check out your Gapa Gamma Panel profile to see how it works. Mine, which i use for IL2, is a little too intense for BMS.

Sorry wind, I can only offer to upload the files I added to my BMS 433 install, no idea about details of SweetFx. I never gave this too much thought, as all the colour options can be archieved the same way in gapa and for the performance stuff I rather trust IL-2/BMS’ original software and manual configuration edits.
But of course I saw the modified IL-2 Sweet FX shots at SAS and they look cool.
