Trustmaster MFD Bezels LED brightnes
-
I am using these for years and LED are set in windows (slider in gamecontroller setting) to minimum
a friend who bought these bezels gave me a tip which i would like to share:LED Brightness is also adjustable with the controller itself
HOLD OSB 14 & 15 pressed (bottom left 2 buttons)
use BRT rokker to increase/decrease LED brightness -
You can also turn them off completely this way which is handy when not flying. I didn’t even install the software that comes with the MFDs so being able to adjust their brightness manually is a great feature.

Sweet! I’m gonna give that a try tonight.
Edit: Up until now I did it in my TARGET script:
ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&LMFD, LED_INTENSITY, 0)); //set left MFD backlight power
ActKey(PULSE+KEYON+LED(&RMFD, LED_INTENSITY, 0)); //set right MFD backlight powerWhere 0 is off, and I believe 255 max brightness.

I always use that method, as I only ever want them on the minimum brightness level (what were Thrustmaster thinking?) and trying to achieve that with the slider on the Windows app is very tricky.

Do you know something similar for the leds on the warthog throttle?
I don’t want to run a TARGET script only for turn off those leds. -

Just in case you didn’t know this yet:
You can just run the script, then stop it and close TARGET and the lights will remain off.
That’s how I used to turn off my MFD’s when I’m not flying.Br,

Is is also possible to set up the bezel brightness control in the key file, or would that cause a BMS callback collision?
I’ve been thinking about this, but haven’t gotten that far yet…
