Jagged edges
-
Hi folks,
BMS doesnt look as good as I think it should on my PC. I have a GTX970 and still have some jagged edges on objects in the middle distance. Is there anything I can change to improve this?

Hi,
I’ve got a 970 too and haven’t been able to get anything beyond Quality Level 3 in game (4.32 or 4.33).
Definitely suggest trying changing settings with either Nvidia Control Panel or Nvidia Inspector.
Saying that, I’ve played with the settings lots and still can’t seem to get graphics as good as most of the screenshots I see on the forum.
Good luck!
Thanks,
Del

Try;
In game Setup/Graphics- Turn off Multisampling (lvl-0),
- Turn off vSync
- Go to Advanced, turn off AF.
Save and close.
Open nVidia Graphics
- AF - Over-ride application and set AF drop down to 16x (or start with 8x if you wish)
- AA - Over-ride application and set AA drop down to 4x,
Make sure you have Power to max performance, if you have multi-displays set that to max performance . I also run vSync on (not adaptive) with triple buffering as I get tearing but with your 970 it may not be necessary.
I find this has been running pretty smooth and looks good.
I know you didn’t ask but FPS wise, I get 60 FPS flying, unless you turn on the TGP then it drops between 10 and 20 FPS depending on the theater. I turn off most shaders, use low res clouds and particle system. I use Lightning’s MFDE to extract MFD’s and gauges.
