Skins not applying

I replaced some tail flashes with those of other squadrons, and manually opening the .dds files in Photoshop confirms they have been replaced, yet in-game the original skins are still applied and the new skins do not appear. How do I fix this?

Are you sure you use the correct texture number? They changed with 4.33. Check \Docs\Other Documentation\Database\F-16s TexSet.xls

They are the correct texture numbers. 100% match with the texture set list. They also appear correctly in LOD editor’s texture viewer.

Hi res/low res
Textures are on two folders, if you placed them in the low res, make sure no dds at this name is in the hi res folder.
Or copy your dds to the hi-res folder as well -
That solved the issue, thanks. I wish the manual had been a bit clearer about that.
