Extreme menu lag with 64 bit client
-
Hi. I just installed 4.33 and whenever I launch the game with the 64 bit client I get extreme menu lag, it takes 30 seconds to a minute after I click a menu button for that menu to pop up. It’s like I’m getting 1 frame per 30 seconds. Everything works just fine with the 32 bit client however. I would appreciate any tips to get the 64 bit client working.

hello
did some more digging into this
did some quick searches on the www and came to the idea that a lot off guys had problems with GUI’s in windows7 and they were all to ascribe to the fact of an openGL problem
so i completly removed my GC drivers with this tool amd driver removal utility
and reinstall the latest drivers for my card with the AMD autodetect tool
In the hope this would fix it …… buttttttt still no luckstill focused on the openGL problem i went into the GC UI and did see i couldnt enable anti aliasing not even 2X this is really weird
then I looked at every possible program or app that i installed with respect to the GCso i remembered I had installed MSI Afterburner for video capture but it also can do a lot of different stuf to…
once it is installed you get 2 programs one is msi afterburner and the second one is RivaTunerStatisticsServer
i had them both starting up at windows boot in the RivaTuner there is a option
Custom Direct3D Support ON/OFF once i chance this my problem was solvedhope this can help you guys
my UI is back quick as it ever was :D:D:D

The only “UI” Lag I have, is when I want to assign a target to a steerpoint. Sometimes it I can’t click on anything else for ~30 seconds. After that it runs as usual and sometimes randomly lags when I click through targets to assign to a steerpoint(or cycle through the steerpoints in the UI). Radio chatter is playing as it should during the lag.

What security software are you running?
Windows Defender
I’m gonna switch it off and see if that makes a difference.edit:
Nope, still the same. Sometimes it takes super long to either load an object/steerpoint in recon mode -
