OBS buttons bound to Warthog by default
-
…I gave up on TARGET a long time ago.
-
I had the same issue when I started programming the OSB, It over wrote the stick/throttle.
Don’t enable the OSBs in Target. I believe that was my solution.
Good luck not using Target
How to do that ?
-
Do not Enable them in your profile

Thx

How I solved this ( I never used TARGET either)
Open up the keyfile.key you want to work with in notepad and scroll down to the bottom. You will see callbacks without the quotation marks and text after them. These are the ones that are mapped to buttons on your HOTAS.
Just delete the lines that callbacks for OSBsYou should make backup of your keyfile first of course in case something goes wrong.

Tried and didnt help at all… God setting up controls in BMS i terrible. Im fighting with this over a week ;/

Helped for me as well.

Not a fan of target either, but I have a problem trying to get the Coolie Hat to detect in falcon. … but if I set joystick as main… the coolie hat is not seen. If I set the throttle as main, they are seen as the trim switch. If I Is there a trick to this ? it works on other games…
don’t worry found the problem… only one POV can be mapped…

It happends to me every time I disconnect and connect my sticks and throttles (both cougar and Warthog) without a computer restart, as it will assign new Dx inputs to the different buttons every time.
There are two solutions to this I believe.
restart your computer after connecting devices and before running Falcon
or use Target and map specific Dx functions to the different buttons
Im not sure how the setup for the keyfile is but In curious if its one line per Dx or if they are bound? -
Also happens to me using morphines, every time I reboot the pc it sems to reset? itself.
I have to unplug all the usb devices, and plug them in one at a time, really annoyingDeleting the OSB’s without “XYZ” just made all the controls say ‘no function assigned’ ingame
was an actual fix found?

I saved a new keyfile without those damn lines, loaded in BMS, but in flight, when I press the DMS/TMS up/down/left/right, there’s always an action on the RMFD OBSs….
Any suggestions? Thanks -
Check out your DeviceSorting.txt file? If the order changes, then it’ll mistake your HOTAS for other things such as MFDs.

That’s what it says:
{FFFF044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Thrustmaster Combined”
{0404044F-0000-0000-0000-504944564944} “Throttle - HOTAS Warthog”

Are you using a target profile?
-
Yes, Dondluk profile. Months ago it was perfect!!!

I’m guessing your another victim of the Teamspeak / Target bug. It has to do with Teamspeak’s joystick plugin. Which they started to install by default a few months ago. There is a solution. See here https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?32295-Target-Bug-Solution
