Electrical power when failures?

Question, was doing some failure testing in single player mode. Took off full AB, kept speeding up with gear out to simulate broken gear approach. Over 300knts I start hearing some cracking noises, once past 350 I hear some louder stuff and get a NWS FAIL warning on the caution panel. So far all as planned.
When looking outside in external view I had no visual gear, and in pit 1 green (nose wheel). Alt gear handle didn’t do anything either.
I accidentally dropped all my stores by using emergency jettison instead of using selective jettison so the initial plan of landing on my wingbags was out the window. Additional problem, I had an AN/ALQ-131 on the centerline so landing would be f*cked.
Coming down faster then usual to keep my AOA low and landed relatively flat as I’m used of doing with bags still under the wings.
During touchdown I get a bunch of warnings of course and it ends with a shut down engine and all electricity gone. I had nothing alive anymore, a complete dark jet, expect 1 thing: my UHF panel. I could still read the channel & manual freq digits on there. Weird.
Even when I switched the main power switch on the elec panel to off, I still could see those digits. I don’t understand, when all elec is shut off, how can these still light up?So 2 questions: 1/ how come I didn’t see any gear hanging out. Is it actually modeled it can break off at too high speeds then? I would have expected to still see open bays then, but the fuselage looked like a jet with wheels up and stored. 2/ how is power management modeled? I can’t think of a situation where every single thing is out, and even elec pwr off but the uhf panel still having power.

Gear can fail hydraulically or physically (jamming doors or ripping off the gear). Alt gear won’t help if the gear mechanism itself is damaged; it’s just an alternate source of power. You wouldn’t land wing bags with a centerline pylon anyway. Most of these situations end up the decision tree with controlled ejection. What the visible effect looks like depends on the model. In BLK15 I saw gear retract and doors stay open, in BLK52 I saw all retraction. Regardless of visual model gear is jammed and unmovable.
Electricity is done in buses. Oddly when I try to induce zero electrical power (EPU off, engine off, main power off) I still get HUD and COM1 (radio pops and everything). Shared Memory tool shows that the Battery and Emergency bus are both on throughout.

Yes, airborne with MAIN PWR switch in the off position some stuff keeps working. On ground this switch position additionally disables the standby generator and disconnects the battery from the battery bus which airborne doesn’t do. And so despite selecting MAIN PWR off after the crash the airborne state prevented the battery bus from being disconnected and therefore the COM1 radio continued to function.

From the Dash 1:
“If all generators fail, the aircraft battery is connected and powers battery bus No. 1 and battery bus No. 2. The battery buses are powered in all cases to provide a source of power to the FLCS power supply (if needed) and start power to the EPU.”
So, in RL it sounds like there is always a hot 28 VDC bus in the jet someplace…another other way to noodle it out would be to look at the EPs and see what equipment is still operational in the event of compound failures. Hopefully the model is “correct” and the state of the jet in BMS will match the Dash 1 equipment table.

that could Indeed be it. If airborne State is determined by weight on wheels, And I landed without wheels,
