Bad fps and triangle-view 4.33
-
Hi guys,
While flying the previous version of BMS, I had to turn off some of the shaders in order to get some decent fps. With the shaders turned off, I had absolutely no problems and everything worked very smooth. Now I’ve updated to version 4.33, I seem to experience some very bad fps-issues… My fps are very low and I can’t seem to fix it by turning the shaders off.
Also I see lots of triangles in the air, which is kind of weird. I also get a red warning in the upper left corner in the beginning of my flight which tells me something about a high ram usage, but it disappears so fast that I can’t really show you guys. I have in cluded a picture of the triangle-problem though.I hope that some of you have experienced the same problems and know how to fix it, bucause BMS is a beautiful simulator and it would be sad if I couldn’t play it because of this.
Thank you for your time and effort!
Alan.

I don’t know nothing about no triangles, but from what I’ve read and seen, if you struggled with FPS in 4.32, you’re going to struggle a LOT more with 4.33.
Many threads on this …. current threads. Have a look around.

Maybe there’s more stuff you can lower to get better framerate if low end PC is your problem.
Did you try both 32 and 64 bit versions?
What type of graphics card and how much RAM do you have installed in your PC?
By the way, if i heard the word “triangles” without seeing the screenshot, i would say 100% gpu overheat, but i’m not so sure after seeing it. -
Thank you guys,
I guess that I’ll have to put it back to 4.32 -
You should include your specs when you ask for help/advice.
I had to update my GPU driver as I was having glitches with the trees.
So what is your driver.

If you are using a laptop, or if you have two GC … check that you are actually running BMS using the nVidia or the Raedon chipset and not the internal card.

Alan,
I had the same problem with the triangles in the sky, solved it by downloading and installing the latest driver for my Intel HD GPU from the Intel website.
Hope this helps?
