Enabling External Displays causes Falcon 4.33 to shut down
-
Hello Gents, I am having a problem with the external display option. It seems that when I tick on external displays via the config editor Falcon wont start, I get the error BMS Falcon has stopped working. This happens in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions and is %100 recreate-able, I turn on external displays via the confi editor and Falcon wont run, I turn it off and Falcon runs just fine. I uninstall Falcon4.33 and reinstall and turn on the external dispalys start Falcon (for the first time) and I see the displays come up and all is fine, when I exit Falcon and start it again Falcon wont start. I disable external displays and Falcon works just fine. The crash log should be attached I had to break it into two sections as it was slightly larger than what the upload would allow.
Because I don’t get a chance to get here very often these days let me just say the work done is is nothing short of amazing, Thank You to all!!

Might also help if you gave a detailed description of your hard ware.

Nice rig.
I see your using a 4x4GB Ram setup.
Under those conditions, & especially when OCing the CPU you may need to give the memory controller a tad more voltage.
That should be the VTT in the bios.

Appreciate the advice, I will give it a go, do you think this will help with the issue of Falcon not starting with external display selected? If increasing the voltage a bit does I will let you know.
-
Before experimenting with voltages why not simply test problem with overclock cancelled.

if the dimensions of the windows is larger than the screen size or positioned outside the screen dimensions (maybe added an extra 0 to the window position in the settings) it can cause the whole thing to crash
