Carrier in main Korea Campaign

Is there any way to change when the carrier arrives without making it present from day one? Like have it show up that night instead of later on Day 2/3?
If you have a save around that time, yes you can activate it that same way I did in the video. There probably is a way to make it appear at a certain time via a script (I think). But I have not messed around with that stuff yet. I’m still learning my way around Mission Commander, but this was one of the first thing I learned.

Change the reinforcement value to 15 (carrier and attached squadrons) with MC

What about reinf flag? Both should be set as I can recall.

It is the “Inactive” flag
Yes if you have a “reinf” value (positive) then the Inactive flag need to be set

Doh! I should’ve realized I could spawn it directly whenever I was ready. And BadBoy thanks also for you more organic way of bumping up the spawn conditions

Ok so I made the tutorial on activating the CV for day 1 of Rolling Fire. As for adding a new task force with squadron. That I don’t know, I can get the ability to place squadrons on the CV. That’s done by loading up the actual campaign save, and making the new CV one of the objectives. The problem I’m running into is the game wont load the frags. I’ll select a frag and hit take off. The game will load the first 2 bars on the load screen then kick me back to the campaign screen. If I can figure out how to solve that problem, I will make another video on that. The way I did it in the video is the easiest way to get the CV for Rolling Fire.
Update: I’ve think I may have figured out what happening with the new TF and the Squadron. For some reason the Squadron added are not sticking to the CV so when the ship moves. The Squadron are falling off, so I think the game thinks the squadron is gone. Thats why it not loading any of the frags and kicking me back to the campaign screen.
I just wanted to pass along that I did this last night and it worked. So, thanks ,Jojcib.

I could not get Jojcib’s CV activation and geographic relocation to work in the Strong DPRK theater Rolling Fire camp under 4.33.1. When the CV and its squadrons are “activated” the CV gets placed at the very bottom left of the theater map and refuses to move. Following the CV relocation procedure in MC appears to work, tho requiring 150 right clicks on the map for each WP, but in BMS, the CV remains at bottom left of the map.

HHmm. I moved the Vinson in Iron Fortress, and now I’m flying Rolling Fire with the Vinson active from Day 1 and west of Sousan. Not sure how to help, Habu. Unlike most of my adventures in BMS setup, I didn’t have to McGyver this! Are you sure you applied/saved at all the steps?

So I did a test and it worked for me, though my CV didn’t have any squadrons on it. The only thing I can think of is MC is moving the WP around so I would check that. I’ve had it try and spawn the CV in the middle of Korea once. Not really sure why it does it sometimes. If the WP are fine, I’m not really sure what causing it.
