Graphic lines

Why does the screen show lines like this?
-
your specs?
-
Are you using any type of modded tiles? It looks like maybe something is up with your texture files, but I’m not 100% certain. If you can’t figure it out through hardware maybe do a fresh install if it isn’t too inconvenient.
-
Check GPU temps as well… artifacts might be a sign of overheating GPU or a GPU that’s on it’s way out.

Maybe, but maybe not. We had a similar issue during a server-based wing flight last night (nearly identical). Seen by several people in my flight. Maybe something to do with the cloud/cloud-layer settings.
??

You need to install the “round earth” mod. It is obvious from your screenshots that you’re playing with the “flat earth” default!
-
I think it’s weather related as well
-
I witnessed this once aswell. in Instant action between clouds layers. Never again happened but since 4.33 I’m not a frequent user.
-
I have seen something similar with 4.33.1 (no lines but clean black 3D models in the white landscape) when i tryed to obtain 0 visibility using a low level cloud layer. Strange thing is that for airports while the buildings where clearly visible in the fog the runway texture were not visible at all.
Anyway i was not able to reproduce it.Just to say that i guess for weather related problem…

How to write good bug reports
While there is no formal bug tracking tool set up at present, reports of bugs are welcome and encouraged. Post them here in this forum for want of anywhere better for now at least. Here are some guidelines that might help us all track down and fix things as fast as is practical:
DO NOT post a bug report until you have made a good faith effort to try to reproduce the problem more than once.
One issue only per thread.
Be specific about the problem – describe what you saw, what you expected and why you think your issue is a problem. Use event style descriptions: I pressed <this>and looked at <that>and then <this>happened at game time x and then <this>at game time y and so on (use game time from your DED CNI page; this can help a lot in cross reference to debug output).
Mention the BMS version in the title thread as in the following example : [4.33 Base 32bits]. If you have a bug in an older version of BMS, please reproduce the bug in the latest version before posting.
Include specific conditions and steps required to reproduce a problem or note that you have tried to reproduce it and failed (for problems you can’t easily reproduce, please moderate your expectations on how fast things can be addressed).
If the bug occurs with a campaign mission, try to reproduce it in a TE as well (TE’s are orders of magnitude faster to debug!).
Include <date time=“”>_crash.txt file content in your post if there is one and your issue is a CTD (use CODE tags to surround those so that you can include the whole text of that file pasted in; if the whole thing won’t fit deleted all information after the “module list” line).
Upload txt files, dmp files and screenies that come with a CTD if you can and provide a link (avoid upload sites that massively bombard you with web scripts and so on when you try to download from them if you can).
Include a description of your system hardware (this is really important if there’s a chance that the issue you find is related to the platform you have but obviously may not be relevant for some issues; use judgement but if you don’t supply this, you might well get asked the question).
If you have workaround suggestions, “do <x>to avoid running into the problem”, please include that too (that likely helps anyone else who sees the same issue).
If you want fast response on an issue doing the above will surely get you better service – help us to help you!
Equally, writing a bad bug report will probably get you ignored (“hey, I can’t install…fix it!” or “hey, the radar is busted, when will there be a patch??” as examples – those aren’t bug reports, they’re just noise ).
Oh, and to be clear: this thread is NOT for adding actual bug reports but if you have questions about HOW to submit bugs you could add those here for clarification of the process.</x></date></this></this></that></this>

I’ll try to follow Shadow’s advice. But I wasn’t sure about starting a new thread, so I’ll just continue here.
Be specific
I get straight lines in my graphics. It’s the KaesongStrike from WDP, modified with Mission Commander and I removed the fuel tanks, 8 miles from STPT 6Mention the BMS version
4.33.1, 64 bitsInclude specific conditions and steps
Some have said it’s weather so I changed weather from fmap to deterministic. Here are pictures of my weather settings. If the bug occurs with a campaign mission, try to reproduce it in a TE as well (TE’s are orders of magnitude faster to debug!).

……
Thank you Shadow. For your edification, I was NOT reporting a bug. I was confirming a possible issue/anomaly. If I’d had a repro case, I would have posted it.

Looks like you’re right.

Yeah, it’s a weather thing. Seems like weather settings can cause screen malfunctions. I reset all the weather screens to the default weather settings and the problem went away.
Default weather, no problem:Original modified weather:

The post was not for your benefit as you should know better, and as it was clearly directed at Jc1 ……
& if you ever need more edumacation I will be glad to help.

So what was that supposed to be? Low-lying fog?
