YAME64 suite

You can do that already in the config.xml?
Can you? Apologies then, if this is already possible. Like I said, my pit is still under construction so I’ve not really tried anything yet.
I will make a configuration utility for the next release, just to make it more easy, maybe something like MFDE with checkbox for individal gauge.
For the snap thing you can position the window to left top using ALT+0, I will add the snap to border in future.
The ALT+B crashes sometimes, I will investigate, thank you.
The fuel gauge was taken from BMS 4.32, maybe I can get the new correct one from the current version. If there is a UI, then that would be awesome for me!

None yet, waiting on a beta version he’s making for me
@-Ice
Beta testing. All items are YAME except for the trim gauges and compass that are still from MFDE. Quick and dirty layout of course but going in the right direction for sure! -
Hello,
Trying to setup but cannot get the gauges working and updating, settingup in 64 mode, same machine.
Can get MFD and RWR on main screen but not through the client. however I can see them and move them to any of my screens.PORT: 53100
FPS: 30
MFD: 1 0 578 200 200 196 0 824 578 200 200 64
RWRDED: 1 0 0 100 100 128 0 824 0 200 70 128I estimate I overlook some setting(s)?
Thanks
FIXED**
I have set port forwarding in my routor to given IP from the server launch tool.
Now fine tuning sizes and position of the gauges. -
Installed and working once I installed the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for 32 and 64bit ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48145 ) but for me the client both 32 and 64 consume 25% cpu ! Is that normal ? i7-4770K

Hi,
I just had to open port 53100-53101 in my routor for my IP.
Same I have to do when flyng online in multiplayer mode.Regards
-
Maybe I misunderstood your post, but you’re saying “a setup on the same machine”. You wouldn’t need a portforward if you’re setting up server/client on the same machine. Probably not even when using two, since they’re most likey on the same local network. Only expections in firewall in OS is necesarry. Even I can extract you’re gauges with this setup.

If you are using the same machine you don’t need to run the server at all. Just enter in the client config.xml the string local as the ip address of the server. This way you will have all extraction without network usage.

I’m not a network technician, it worked for me so i’m happy.

So I’ve been trying to get this going….I’m the client on the same PC so I shouldn’t have to use the server? Correct?
-
Yes, make sure you have set “local” instead of An IP in THE client config xml and have texture export enabled in falcon bms config.
-
Ok so what am I doing wrong here… trying to use only client program, any help would be appreciated.
I’m getting this error…
From registry I have these entries:
I’ve noticed there’s less entries in the 4.33 u1 than in my 4.32 regentry. Also I only have entries in wow6432node, which is fine I guess, only playing 64-bit. I’m of course using Yame64_client.
Settings in client_config.xml:
<globals><server flightdataport="53000" textureport="53000">local</server> <enabledataexport fps="30">true</enabledataexport> <enabletextureexport fps="30">true</enabletextureexport> <smoothtextures>true</smoothtextures> <user>Ripper</user> <bullseye show="false">390,464</bullseye></globals>
From falconbms.cfg:
set g_bExportRTTTextures 1
set g_nRTTExportBatchSize 1If instead of just putting in local, by putting in “local”, I get the program launching but no exportation. Is my installation porked somehow? It’s otherwise working fine.

No idea.
If you open the server exe, does that work? Have you pointed to your keyfile and ini file in there without it given same errors? -

I think you are using an old version, download it again, the error message should be “Error load Registry Key for Falcon BMS 4.33 U1”.
For the IP addrees you have to put local without quotes, and the alcon bms.cfg as you have just set.
-
yes, server/client mode works great. Should there be any other keyentries in my registry? looks like there is a couple more in 4.32.
edit:
Roccio, u beat me replying Thx will download the new one.
Could u guys verify I don’t miss any entries in registry anyway?:)
-
Still the same error. I allready had the new version (0.4). A re-download and setup didn’t help.
“Error load Registry Key for Falcon BMS 4.33.”
I’ve not changed anything concerning the theater settings in server-config. Could this be related? I mean, that I need to run server app atleast once with correct theaterpath?

`That was indeed I was thinking about now.

It’s strange, can you try to run the YAME64_client.exe with the “local” ip setting in config.xml?
The client setted in local and the YAME64_server look in the same registry entry (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1).

If this was the right path it failed……
<install><name>Korea KTO</name> <path>D:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Korea KTO.tdf</path> <selected>true</selected></install>

The program ran without any problems hooking with local ip 10.0.10.11, even localhost-ip 127.0.0.1 was no problem. (Also mfd normal works.) Strange thing is, the re-downloaded files I tried actually lagged alot don’t know why.
Anyway, it’s not a big concern of mine as I conclude with hook being a much better approach over sharedmem on my system.
