Cannot extend my display onto 2nd monitor in game, please help!!

Hi guys,
I am in the process of planning a triple projector/monitor setup (haven’t decided completely yet) for Falcon and having a few difficulties spreading displays.
I have been using a single 40inch 1920 x 1080 tv for my main display and a 27inch touch screen for extracted MFDs and Helios. But before I buy the projectors/monitors I decided to get a feel for the increased FOV I am aiming for by adding a second 40inch TV beside my main display and ‘extending’ the displays in Windows 7. This worked great for the desktop but when I loaded BMS it only displayed on one of the screens.
With further research I learned that the displays must be linked via the GPU drivers. I have a laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 and use ATI Catalyst Control Center. Within this program I created a ‘Display group’ which now extends my desktop correctly across the two tvs. Just to confirm this, I went into the display setting under ‘Windows Control Panel’ and under screen resolution for my extended display it now shows that the two displays have now become united in one blue box (see attached photo) reading:
Display 2|3 Multiple monitors
Screen resolution 2720 x 768*note - my second tv has a max resolution of 1360x768 so it has brought the 1920x1080 display back to match it
However much to my disappointment, when I loaded BMS again I found that it is still only displaying on one screen.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Turns out I’m an idiot…
Found the new 2720x768 resolution in BMS graphics settings…
