OS HD crash 4.33U1 is on 2nd HD

It appears to me that you can simply delete the files created during installation. An uninstallation is not necessary because of the lack of registry entries.
I have 4.33.1 on a separate drive, so if I found myself in your position, I’d delete the following folder - D:\Program Files\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1
However, before you can reinstall 4.33.1, you still have to have an installed version of the original F4.

Thanks Slanger
When i moved the HD over I tried to run bms. MISTAKE!! For some reason after I deleted bms, ranthe registry cleaner and reinstalled bms and F4 from steam, bms crashes right after the logo screen when i hit launch.
The other thing to possibly note is when I first tried running BMS after moving the HD, is that i had not moved my video card yet. I have since done that and not sure if that may cause an issue. Going it try and post a log file.

I hit the launch option than BMS stops loading at splash screen with window message “windows is looking for a solution”.
I will post a log file when i finish reading on how to do it

Try deleting “dx9display.dsp” in the “user/config” folder.
As a side note if you can pick a HD 4850 or better second hand off some one you know you may be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks shadow! I will upgrade the card someday. This is is 1 of 2 old backup computers I use to play online stuff with my kids.
The ds9display.dsp never made it into the config folder. I also can not run the original falcon 4 off of steam. Weird. I thought maybe a virus/corrupt file somewhere but does the same on both computers. I definatly screwed the pooch when i swapped hard drives and tried to run bms without reinstalling it first

Solved
The sound card had pooped the bed. I plugged in a pair of headsets and all worked well. I had remembered a similar problem with Battlefrontll. Thanks for all your help. Now if i could only get my kids to fly:))Creature

Try an open window, but only if single story dwelling
