Does anyone know a fix for carrier operations in 4.33? Can’t seem to load into the catapult when creating carrier operations in TE Section. Have tried hitting shift K doesn’t seem to work? This happens with the CVN-70.

SHFT-K is the default to release the catapult.
Carrier Ops on CVN-70 (Vinson) work fine. Roll up slowly on the Cat and it will ‘grab’ when your roll into position. There will be a noticeable pull down (like brakes) when you’re in position.
Once on the hold back, check wings open, flaps to half, NWS off, then go to burner. Upper left text should indicate catapult ready with launch shortly after.

also launcher only works with planes that have advanced flight model av8,f18,f14,f16,a10,and mirage are the ones that hook up. other planes do a default fast launch on deck, just gun it in full AB and full flaps if you fly any other off carriers. three working models for carriers with catapult is VINSON,ROOSEVELT,and ENTERPRISE. older models dont look well and have no catapult but they will launch AI and may fast launch player.Original KTO Kuznetzov will send you back to 2d map and delete your flight if you try launching from it. there is a cool WIP Kuznetzov that i eagerly await

You shouldn’t be able to or have to use the catapult for the Harrier…and it shouldn’t have a launch bar to hook up.

I should hope they at least have one for the Hornet…at least…these are the sorts of details that stop me from even wanting to try it. Nothing compares to what the team has done with the BMS Viper!

What about the missing ‘details’ in the F16? They are numerous, documented and acknowledged. They don’t bother you?

That’s not what I’m saying…I’m saying that the Viper is such a high bar that anything else isn’t even worth my trouble. There is far and away more than I would expect included in the Viper model…and I mean a LOT more, which more than satisfies me. The Hornet, OTOH, isn’t much more than exterior eye-candy. Which is expectable…I doubt we’ll be seeing a 100% up to date and accurate Rafale E anytime soon either. Which also doesn’t bother me - I’m in BMS to fly Vipers, and I’m fine with what I have. Minus a moving map…
