New airbases: Runways invisible on the radar scope, AG Radar, bug

Hmmm terrain is flat I assume and in 3d export the features are leveled to z=0. Will have to check in IKAROS also. Maybe a fubared CT from the addcopy procedure? Maybe a bug in Falcon editor?
Could u make a new but addcopy from an airbase CT that u know that shows up ok?Sent from TapaTalk

Every created airbase objective CTs were addcopies from korea ones, so I don’t think it may be it.
I’ve also thought the features may be there, but don’t show up since Z=0. Could the be rendered underneath the terrain? It’s strange though, because they show up nicely in 3D.
I’ll run some other test and decrease Z value for the runway model to -1 or something and check if it comes up on the scope. -

I was referring to the coordinates on the Z axis, so the feature will “hover” a little bit over the terrain.
Can’t recall any more tests for it to work as we want to, so it’s worth the shot…

Well there are for sure airbase CT’s that are not used in Korea.
I recall this from when I was doing the textures.
I’m not saying they had the issue u r facing, but they where there like old leftovers from the 1.08 era.The behavior is the same on another pc? Maybe it’s just your system only? Like a gfx settings.

Also I would create a new addcopy.
Export from current objective all features and import them to the new.
Then place it on the terrain replacing old with new and test.Sent from TapaTalk

I fixed the Balkans bases. They still have a polarity issue with the base ground. You need to set the display distance in LOD Editor high for the runway and taxiway LODs. I set them to 60000 for the first LOD and 10000000 for the second LOD per model.

I fixed the Balkans bases. They still have a polarity issue with the base ground. You need to set the display distance in LOD Editor high for the runway and taxiway LODs. I set them to 60000 for the first LOD and 10000000 for the second LOD per model.

Yes, you are right Cougar. The last lod needs to have a distance of about 10000000 [emoji33] to be seen by radar and 20 nm

For other airbase developers, just increase last LOD distance for the runways and taxiways to 10.000.000.
