Air to ground tactics guide/SOP
-
Does anyone have a realistic tactical SOP/training manual for air to ground tactics and communication? Air to ground communication is an area I want to improve in my squadron.

BEM is a good start. AFTTP3-3v5. What sort of air to ground did you have in mind? Strike? Interdiction? CAS? All of the above? Strike and BAI can be done quite realistically in BMS. CAS is a little harder without a JTAC, but can still be done - particularly with a good FAC.

Strike and BAI mostly.
All I was able to find was: link removed
Ironically from your site. Is the US version available anywhere? Is it the same materials?
-
Yeah, thats not irony. I deliberately did not link it, as the forum rules prohibit linking to copyrighted material (which it is not) or export controlled material (which it isnt). Despite this, the forum moderators have had a history of suppressing links to that document as though it was export controlled or copyrighted.
US version IS export controlled, and is not to my knowledge publicly available online.
Anyone really curious what Krause is talking about could either click my sig, or google search Basic Employment Manual.

Bluewolf, like them or not these are the rules which you have read and accepted before you could start posting in this forum. The BEM might not be copyrighted, but then again, maybe we have our reasons because maybe we know something that you don’t.
Since your post contributes nothing constructive but pure criticism for the Mod team, you will get an infraction and will have to take some time to read and accept the forum rules before posting again. The next time will result in a ban.
Krause, the US BEM is not available and yes it would have the same material more or less (e.g. depending on some specific weapons one country might have which the other does not) as others currently circulating the internet with a comparable publication date.
