# issue in Phonebook
-
Hi guys,
I have an Italian keybord, and am perfecly able to type a # whenewer I need to.
But I’m unable when inside Falcon BMS Phone Book (Comms UI). All the other Italian guys I know have the same issue.As the dedicated IVC server adress of my group has a # inside its name, I’m unable to join it.
Anybody else ever had this problem? Any solutions to it?
Tahnk you

try to change the settings before entering Falcon BMS in the Phonebook.ini
Then the settings should appear when you start Falcon BMS after that. -
Stupid me. Should have thought of that

Hi Drako,
can you please confirm that this is your / a typical Italian keyboard layout?
If so you have to press Alt GR + à (= #), right?I am not absolutely sure, but I think BMS doesn’t support symbols etc. which have to be invoked by Alt GR.
You can try one the following solution:
Edit the phonebook.ini located in your …/User/Config folder with an editor.
I assume you have already saved a co0ntact in yout UI phonebook.
It looks like this:[Contact 5]
Description = Host a Game
Protocol = 4
Type = 0
COMPort = 0
Baudrate = 0
LANrate = 0
WANrate = 0
Jetnetrate = 0
Modemrate = 0
Parity = 0
Stopbits = 0
Flowcontrol = 0
IPaddress = 0.0.0.0
Phonenumber =
Voicehostip = 127.0.0.1
VoicehostPwd =
SetBandWidth = 1024Just edit the Voicehostip = 127.0.0.1 line.
Edit: Too late
