Error installing BMS 4.32.7 full
-
Good day guys,
I’m in the process of introducing falcon to a brand new player. He’s downloaded the .rar file and extracted the file. Once he opens the bms setup file there is no setup application (little red box). That being said I downloaded the same file and extracted it to my computer and I have no problems at all. He’s mentioned that he hasn’t run his antivirus in a while so we ran it over night and are waiting in the results.
Does anyone know what might have happened?
In the mean time I copied the setup file to a flash drive and he’s going to try to install that way.
Cheers,

Clear the extracted folders, download the .rar again and re-extract.
Sounds like either his .rar wasn’t complete, or corrupted …. or he’s ‘lost’ or ‘moved’ the setup file after extraction. Easiest thing might be to delete what’s there and try from fresh.

We actually already tried that once but we can do it again.
Does anyone know of any other file extracting programs other than 7-zip that are free and reliable? -
When you download the .rar, you can open the archive with 7-zip …. not extract it, but view it like folder window … is the setup.exe there?
If so, then is anti-virus quarantining the exe? If so, turn off anti-virus when extracting.

Quick question
Will bms launch with an integrated video card? -
Generally, yes.
I ran with with Intel 3600 integrated graphics for ~18 months with minimal issues. However, you do need to reduce the internal graphics settings and minimize external use when BMS is running.
Possibly related, disable the start up movie in the configuration settings. As I read it, that movie can sometimes inhibit the BMS launch.

He’s using Intel HD Graphics 4400 shared video memory (UMA) in his box
