Confirmed kills only show as damaged in debrief
-
My vfs runs continuous campaigns on a server but very often, when the campaign reaches a certain point, every A-G kill achieved only shows up as damaged in the debriefing window, regardless of bomb or agm used.
This happened on the BfB standalone and on a ITO campaign on several occasions.
Since our server isn’t that powerful, we are using the script that inhibits elaborate 3D rendering for the server client. But that is highly unlikely to be related.
Any ideas what might cause this?PS: I’m sure this is a bug. An AGM65 should make short work of Humvees and BTRs. Same goes for GBU12 and CBU97. Indeed they explode and burn nicely, yet debrief says otherwise.

Perhaps the campaign has ended?

It hasn’t and Bump

there was a similar thread once like last week
they said this happens if the host isn’t in 3d
afaik
so yes, bug

Host (Server) is in 3D… The server is based in Saudi Arabia. Is it possible that it’s to far away from the action. I might try to place it closer to the action. So yeah, I guess it’s a bug.

Did anyone alter the bubble setting from it’s maximum (6?) position?

Interesting question. I have noticed some bubble issues with ships, due to the time it takes for one to sink, and whether one is in the bubble or not when it does sink. If you are in the bubble when the ship sinks, you get credit for the kill. If you fly out of the bubble before the ship sinks, you only get credit for damage, even though the target is gone in the UI after the mission is over.

where’s this “bubble setting”?

Setup, Graphics, Object Density

Lol that ain’t bubble setting. Those guys are dinos referring to the old bubble setting, which for many was a good thing to have.
But it was decided to be on default settings only. This has its good and bads.
I believe I-hawk is good with bubbles. :lol:Sent from TapaTalk

You’re right. I think bubble slider went away in some version as it was best to have it max. Object density can mess with it too. If you see 2 vehicles per “node” and server sees 3 then they won’t be in the same place.

I have seen this also, however, in a stand-alone campaign. One additional thing I make myself do is to find the target which I was supposed to destroy on the briefing map. I right click and check the status of the target, or targets, in the case of multiple targets such a tank column. Often, not always though, the target shows destroyed or 0% operational. This may not be your problem. I hope this helps somewhat.
