Weather Commander Cursor
-
Is there any way, besides counting, to know where the cursor is on the fmap. No matter where I place the cursor, it always shows Cursor Value at X:4 Y:0, in the upper right panel.

On my weather commander, the cursor is highlighted in a darkish blue box

Mine is too. What does the panel in the upper right show you, where it says “cursor value at”? Does it change when you point to a different cell?
More questions: When you run the animation, does the time indicate minutes and seconds?
Is the wind direction in WC the same as BMS? In other words, do you have to reverse the wind direction in BMS that you used in WC? -
Yes the values change as the cursor position change. I never have got the animation to work right. You can make the wind go in any direction you want using the wind brushes for weather commander and also speed.

Yes the values change as the cursor position change…
My values don’t change. I wonder if Falcas can help out to explain why not.
Edit: Now, the values change. I don’t why.
Edit: I know now. Only the background shows the cell values. When a fmap is over the background, the cell values will not be seen.
When you run the animation, does the time indicate minutes and seconds?
Edit: It is hours and minutes.

Edit: Better to ask is the Weather Direction in WC the same as in BMS? Seems to be the same. -
Now I know why the cell values change or don’t change. The values will change when you have only the background loaded. When you add a fmap to the background, you no longer can get the values of the cells. This is not good.
