Multiplayer Campaign Server
-
I’m going to have some spare time tomorrow on my lunch break so was thinking about using teamviewer to fiddle on with mission planning from work. It got me thinking. I’d rather not leave my PC running with F4 all day for heat and energy reasons. If I host a campaign on my server, and fly from it in on my as a client, how do DTC settings etc work? If I connect to my server (falcon host) from work and set up DTC settings etc, how would that affect the client PC wen I return later? Or would I need to use WDP to export settings etc? I’m basically thinking I could launch a new campaign, hosted on the server, and connect in from work to set up PPTs/Lines/Priorities etc. The difficulty is that I won’t be flying from the PC I’d be connecting to via teamviewer.
Hope this makes sense…

Little 2 cents, for what’s they’re worth and if I understand correctly your project: after 2 hours of campaign time without flying, your side’s progression is harmed. Or you wanted to pause it maybe. Unfamiliar with online playing. Don’t hit me for that, please.

No you’re correct; if I don’t fly, allies suffer. I do think it is still possible to win the war without flying though. I was planning to just keep it on stop while I do planning etc.
