U2 Installer Problem?
-
The first couple of times I tried to install the U2 package, the installer did nothing after I designated the target setup folder via the ‘browse’ button. After a few hours of frustration I found the problem -
MY setup folder is located at Masters\Falcon4BMS 4.33.1\Falcon_BMS_4.33_U1_Setup What I didn’t see at first was that the installer had added a folder name on its own: Masters\Falcon4BMS 4.33.1\Falcon_BMS_4.33_U1_Setup\Falcon BMS 4.33 Setup Once I discovered it, I manually cursored to the end of the errant path and deleted the bogus entry and the installer worked as advertised.

I normally goof on that one bit but it is too easy to manually fix. Take the data from the U2 patch folder and cut/paste it into the U1 installer data folder and force it to overwrite the old local.ver file. Can delete the extraneous U2 patch created folders and then all works as advertised.
