New Falcon 4.33 DVD Cover

Nice.
Don’t forget Tommo & Retrosim logos.
You know, legal issues and such…Not necessary - the cover is not a derivative work of their IP and even if it was, using their logos without license would be an infringement on their IP, as well as inplying their approval exists for the cover or even that they made the cover.
Using someone elses logo, without checking if permission exists to do so (big companies like youtube or google give blanket permission generally, so long as you follow their guidelines), is a good way to open yourself to a lawsuit.
So, I would steer clear of adding any companies logo.

Very nice, but IMHO, since I like perfection I would recommencement a new shot where the weapon loads are more accurate like in rl world. The AIM-9X is not loaded in wingtip stations 1/9 (not 100% sure it is an X version since the image is low-res), while if a mixture of 2 Aim-120’s and 2 Aim-9’s are to be loaded, then the -120 is always loaded to the wingtips and the -9’s to stations 2/8.
Or you can design your own…
-
4.33 doesn’t feature Balkans, Adriatic, or Israel theaters, only Korea.
Just saying…

It is on the list for the community, together with some other gifts… When I’ll manage to find the time for this…
-
I like it looks good. I second the opinions for a realistic load out and international versions.
+1 for this, would be really nice!
Meanwhile, thanks Ron for sharing this, it’s definitely cool. -
Ya Ron it’s nice. Dont worry about these other sucka’s talkin down. I couldn’t do anything like that so its pretty tight.

Curious….

Curious….
My guess is the slang term, “sucka’s”, got his a$$ in a sling. Probably not meant to be offensive, but some could see it that way.

A couple of very nasty posts …. personal attacks … were removed.

Gentle reminder that ppl doing stuff for their own and eventually sharing it to the community do whatever they please.
I’m saddened every time when I see someone stepping up and sharing something being challenged in the way Ron was in this thread. While we have a zero tolerance on personnal attack I perfectly understand the state of mind of the banned guy. It doesn’t excuse his words, but on the content he’s pretty right in my book
Who cares if you feel some work is not perfect enough as you would do, if you feel you can do better remain silent and do it.
The one working does his way. You guys should learn that bit and stop asking for changes, more work, just for your pleasure.
There are hundredth of guys in here each with a different opinion pleasing you all together is NEVER going to happen.Stop whinning, start doing and sharing, then you will expose yourself to the same thing that happened to Ron, and we will see if you can stay motivated enough to keep sharing with this ungrateful and never satisfied community

Moreover, I fear the rigourous treatment Raider254’s post and account received may severely hamper his first contact with the sim - he’s been posting several times to ask questions lately, and as long as I could notice, always respectfully. And although something was to be done about his post, this is the first thing that came to my mind.
But moderators know better than I how to deal with it.
-
that is unfortunate, but ultimately the forum rules need to apply to everyone, new or not. It is IMO a higher priority that the forum rules be applied to maintain the community, over trying to ease newcomers in. Particularly if they are going to be rude over it.

Knowing how to deal with a situation better than anyone else has nothing to do with the situation here. There were posts which were removed that attacked a member in a very crude, un-warranted manner. As such he has no place in this community.

Yet, while having nothing to do, it is the truth. And I haven’t come with something better very firstly because I’m not entitled to, let alone the fact that I wouldn’t have anything better to propose. Simply expressing a regret, which is that he should have watched his tongue. I think I see where the misunderstanding lies. I didn’t write rigourous as something pejorative, rather unfortunate, as Blu3wolf wrote, and yet mandatory. It’s probably clearer to say his attitude may severely hamper his first contact with the sim.
PS: I don’t wish to elaborate further or seem to be trolling, I simply wanted to make my point clear and am done about my parenthesis.

We feel the same and we regret when this happens.
There are other guys who are annoying the moderation team on a daily basis we would rather see banned.
But if we let our personnal feelings or if we let personnal attacks go without consequences, this place will turn loose in a heartbeat -

An (un)personal attack on the entire community! Post reported - hang the poster!
It goes without saying you make some very valid points, but it must be remembered that in no way will anyone ever please all of the people all of the time. As such, a developer must be prepared to accept some critique of his work upon releasing it, otherwise it would be better for it not to be released at all! I personally have no problem with criticism of my work, so long as it is constructive. Anyone who used criticism as a cover for making personal attacks deserves to be banned IMHO. We are forever inviting people to RTFM, so why not RTFFR (…Forum Rules) too?
To ronster’s credit - he appears to have taken the criticism of his offering on the chin, and not retaliated in any way too, which is a good sign.
