No fuel consumption and exploding at taxi start
-
Hi,
today I made some houses for my project and tested it temporary, also with ramp start. I made some rest and now I wanted to make again a ramp start, but it didn´t work, the engine wasn´t loading and all warnings were on.
So I made a new TE and again ramp start. Nearly the same but the engine had loaded, but the fuel consumption stayed at Zero (normally between 8 and 9 IIRC yet). And also all warnings were on…
Then I took the same new TE, but started on the taxiway. But again, no fuel consumption, but the engine was running. And suddenly, “I” exploded… New try, same action.
Ok…
I copied a backup from my object folder back into the directory, same new TE…all fine! So, what have I done, that the issue raised?!
While working at the houses for my project I replaced also LOD´s.
Here´s a list:CT Sketchup project
96 Haus_1
866 Haus_2
890 Haus_9
891 Haus_3
892 Haus_8
895 Haus_4
896 Haus_5
897 Haus_6
1279 Haus_7630 Haus_10
Do I have catched a CT which raised that issue? Or what else can be the reason?

Check your hitbox values for the new LODS.
Maybe the values are too big and the A/C colides with them once on the runway, although that wouldn’t explain the fuel issue…
Just a thought, not easy to make a correct diagnostic without actually looking into it.Best of luck

The LOD replacement should be ok. After copy back the backup and again replacing the vanilla LOD´s all is working fine.
Now I add the houses again. Til then and placing each new house (with new LOD), also, all fine.
Last time (as that issue raised) I had 256 objects in the objective, but I had this also already before, without any harm…One further question:
While ramp start you push battery button once and twice. After the first push, and AFAIK, you can push the test button (battery test). But that isn`t possible… Am I making something wrong? -
Again that issue, engine isn´t loading, all warnings are on…, after placing houses into the area. S**t!

All fine!
Yes, again that hitbox thing.
I replaced a raffinery (the LOD was not in use) and like many (AFAIK) old objects, they are big, very big. And so they have a big hitbox. Too big for my small house. Thanks sir! All fine. Work goes on.
