Template for realistic brief
-
I remember seeing one a couple years ago ,and I mentally use a bastardized version of it - but does anyone have a reference or template for a package/flight brief?

I can’t find the file on my HD but IIRC the real world briefing guide can be found in MCI 11-F16 Volume 3.

F-16 OPERATIONS PROCEDURES - Air Force Instruction 11-F2-16 Vol3.pdf, included in your BMS Docs directory, has what I believe you are asking for (Attachment 2 section, page fifty-eight).

This is the example of a brief I used for my first MP flight. I tried to upload it as a .doc so you could copy it. Feel free to use/ripoff etc.
The sortie was a basic training so hence it is simplified, but I think the briefing worked well. We shacked the target on the first pass and kept relatively good formation in flight.

At the 09th, we have adapt some docs to have that : https://www.dropbox.com/home/Griffons/Docs?preview=MP2-CL-1-change6.pdf
Check from page 113. In red, the items are normaly covert by SOPS / TOPS.
We follow that checklist for each briefing, with some experiences, it could be done pretty quickly. -

Yep that’s it - thanks! I couldn’t remember if it was from a unclass source that someone linked but was not included in BMS or whether it was included in the base documentation. Cheers.

That is an AWESOME product you guys have. I really like the format of your attack cards, however the frag data for Mk-82s and Mk-84s is considerably different than my 8 TFW weapons guide. Anyway, well done, bravo.

I think there was also one published by Dee-Jay…

Here is a Deejay’s Briefing Guide that I was able to download in 2013.
Microsoft Word document, .doc format, created in 2007.
I was unable to find the original post - hope this helps.
