Moving Main install to another drive
-
It’s easily done if you know how to change it in your registry. Are you familiar with doing that??
C9
-
Simple answer is no. Reinstall to the drive you want it on, saving your Logbook and keyfile (if you have a modified one).
KISS @ C9, if he was he wouldn’t be asking.

thanks Shadow will do.

Although that may be true, you do know some people are interested in knowing how to become proficient when it comes to their registry. You know they strive and have a hunger for information. You know, more data!!
You transplanted Kangaroo chaser!!!

It’s simple to do, but you shouldn’t try it, you’d definitely scrooge it up!!!

related question (maybe same answear!?): i want to install BMS for a second tie on my other hard drive partition. i tried it, but was not able to “fool” my installer into thinkink, it is the one and only.
“why would you want to do that in the first place?”
i want to have a “clean” install for MP flying and a second modded one (janhas, tomskorea,…) for testing purposes.
suggestions, input and help appreciated -

suggestions, input and help appreciatedCopy and paste your BMS install folder to your Desktop. Now rename that folder to whatever you want. Like Falcon BMS 4.33 U2(MP). Then move it back to your HDD.
When you want to MP, rename your other folder you use to Mod to Falcon BMS 4.33 U2(MODDED), and remove the (MP) on the other folder, so it now is Falcon BMS 4.33 U2.
When you aren’t MPing, rename it back to Falcon BMS 4.33 U2(MP) and remove the (MODDED) from your other folder so it’s now once again Falcon BMS 4.33 U2.
The names I used are what my folder is named, yours may very. I have 3 installs on the same drive. I don’t use the rename trick. When I install BMS, I give it a specific name like Falcon BMS 4.33 U2, then I remove the registry entry for it, install BMS again with a different name….and for a third install, rinse and repeat.
